Ruby, having finally come down from her high, smiles as she sees Esme coming in from her hunt. Ruby follows her as she goes to change.
Once showered and dressed, Esme is surprised to see Ruby in the room.
"You okay, bee?" Esme asks, sitting beside her sweet mate.
"Yeah, just missed you and wanted to see you before Carlisle comes home. Besides, the others were talking about going on a hunt, so I thought we could have some one-on-one time." Ruby winks. Esme smiles and kisses Ruby's cheek
"Of course we can, my treasure." Esme grins.
"I feel like we never get to be alone together, I mean, school makes it difficult, and Carlisle always likes to spend time with both of us after work, but it's never just us," Ruby says, hugging Esme, who lifts her onto her lap, so her mate is straddling her.
"Red, please don't feel bad for spending time with your other mates. I treasure whatever time we spend together. Every moment we are together is a gift." Esme says and kisses her mate's lips gently.
Ruby deepens the kiss, needing more of Esme, and more was certainly something Esme was willing to give
Esme's hands tangle in Ruby's hair gently as she guides their kiss, purring as she is pressed against her girl. "You are so beautiful, Ruby. Inside and out"
The vampire says as she momentarily breaks away from the kiss, looking at Ruby with love.
"So considerate, so perfect." She smiles
It doesn't take long until Carlisle returns home. He immediately joins us on the bed.
"I could certainly get used to coming home to that sight." He smiles, kissing our heads before speeding off to get changed.
"Are you staying here tomorrow? It's going to be sunny, so we can't leave." Esme smiles, combing hair from my face.
"I wish I could, but I promised Ruben I'd study with him." Ruby sighs, leaning against Esme.
"Can't I just graduate already and be done with all this? Or I drop out and get my GED"
"Sweetheart, you should at least graduate from high school. And what about colleges?" Carlisle asks as he emerges from the bathroom, half-dressed.
"What do I need a degree for? You have a brain for me."
Carlisle flashes her an unimpressed look, while Esme smiles
"It's entirely your decision, Bee. No one is forcing you to go to college, and I certainly wouldn't mind having you around the house all day"
Suddenly, Alice barrels into the room.
"Let's go shopping!" Alice grins.
Carlisle discreetly replaces Ruby's bank card with his.
"Shopping for what?" Ruby asks
"Prom, and I need a winter wardrobe," Alice says, making Ruby frown.
"It's summer, babe" Ruby laughs gently, Alice rolls her eyes
"Then I need a summer wardrobe too"
Ruby laughs as she sis in the car with Alice, Rosalie and Esme, Alice and Rosalie bickering.
Alice wants all of us to coordinate our dresses, something Rosalie disagrees with.
"I do not want to look like a fairy, Alice. I want to look hot," Rosalie says
"You could look like a hot fairy", Ruby laughs as they reach Port Angeles.
The girls are trying on dresses, smiling happily as Ruby poses
