"Armando, may I come in?" Georgina spoke softly, knocking on the door. Armando looked over at his door as it creaked open. Georgina stepped into the room, smiling softly, standing in her dark purple and black dress covering her whole body. "Would you like to come on a picnic with me? I've made some tarts and tea and some cakes. I know a lovely cemetery for us to visit if you would like?"
"Actually, that would be really nice ma'am..thank you for inviting me." Armando stood up, smiling at her. "I'll get my shoes on and I'll be ready soon." Georgina nodded with a soft smile, leaving the room and closing the door behind her. He slipped his shoes on and tied them before going downstairs to Georgina, waiting by the door with a picnic basket, a black and purple parasol in her hand.
"Lets go. We can walk, it's a nice day." Armando nodded as the two began to walk, watching her open her parasol, shrouding herself in from the sunlight. "I hope you don't mind. I don't like to be touched by sunlight. Besides, I quite like the stares from people. Some think I'm a vampire."
"Interesting. And I don't mind at all. Would you like me to carry the basket, your hands are full and um, I'd like to help, ma'am."
"Such a kind young man. Thank you, dear." Georgina handed him the basket and the two walked until they reached the cemetery gates. Armando went to step inside, getting stopped by Georgina. She took out a small cloth coin purse and took out a silver coin. She brought it close to her lips and muttered a few words before placing it on the ground beside the gate, taking a deep breath and stepping into the cemetery. Armando raised an eyebrow and walked after her.
The two walked down the main path, seeing small purple and white flowers all around them, the trees swaying in the breeze as the sunlight flickers through the leaves. They found a small magnolia tree, a smile spreading across Georgina's face. She opened the basket and took out a black and white picnic blanket, laying it down and sitting down, smiling at Armando and patting the ground beside her. He sat and she inhaled deeply, sighing.
"Cemeteries are so calming, aren't they? It's like being in a crowd of people without having to see them, but you can feel that they're there...It's a wonderful feeling, being around the dead."
"I guess so..." Armando said softly, taking things out of the basket and placing them on the blanket. Georgina opened a thermos and poured to cups of tea.
"I know you don't drink tea much but I think you'll like this blend. At least try it for me, I have the recipe written so if you like it, I'll make it more often."
"Thank you ma'am..this is very kind..."
