"Can you at least put on some music or something?" The eyes of the blonde on the driver's seat fleeted slowly to the girl sitting beside her. She have been driving aimlessly for over half an hour now after picking up Jimin by the end of her swimming practice this afternoon.

The sun is slowly setting by the horizon too and Minjeong could see golden streaks of sunlight hitting Jimin's facial features on her peripheral vision. She was never fond of sunsets more so now that the girl beside her is proving to be a much better view than the gigantic ball of gas fading behind her.

"Roll up your side of the window, Yoo." Minjeong commanded the raven haired girl staring outside the car window. The sight is filling her heart too much that she's afraid she wouldn't be able to control herself.

Jimin just simply throws her a glance and says, "Uhm that's a no." before turning her attention to the view outside.

"The car air conditioning is on and you're window is down." Minjeong mutters as a matter of fact.

Feigning innocence in her actions, Jimin just shifted in her seat and looked straight ahead while still keeping the side of her window down. "The scenery outside is keeping me company because the pretty girl driving beside me has not uttered a word ever since she picked me up  earlier."

When Minjeong didn't utter a response, Jimin knew she won this time.

A few more minutes passes and the surroundings are completely covered in darkness that Jimin had no choice but to roll up her window to prevent mosquitoes or any insect from coming inside the car. Having nothing to keep her occupied, she reaches for the car's music system to try and play anything on.

"I don't like driving with the radio or any music on." Minjeong speaks when she sees Jimin trying to reach the music system.

"Really?" The captain asked finding it odd that the blonde would rather drive in silence than to have the company of music or news inside the car.

Minjeong just nods at her question and continues to drive straight ahead with seemingly no specific destination in mind.

Jimin grunts at her seat when she realized that Minjeong was just literally driving around or wherever the wheels takes her. It wouldn't have been a problem in the first place if the blonde was talking to her. But no. It has been over an hour and silence have reigned upon them ever since Minjeong started the car. The sun has set too so nothing is visible outside. Playing with her phone is outside of the choices since it's too rude to be on your phone while you're out with somebody.

"So why don't you like driving with the music on?" Jimin asks instead since there's basically nothing that she can do at this point.

Minjeong just kept on driving like she didn't just hear her lone companion ask her a question.

"Okay next question I guess." Jimin says to herself when she got no response from the driver who's eyes were solely fixated on the road ahead.

"Let's go for the basic one. How was your day?" The captain asks this time as she take a drink on the water bottle in front of her.

It was a shitty one. Minjeong wanted to say. Because it really was. Her day should be technically great in theory since her brother is finally back home but her mother can't just seem to keep her thoughts to herself and kept on saying things that basically makes no sense to Minjeong.

Breakfast. It was breakfast for heaven's sake and all her mother talked about was gossip and business. Sure their living is surrounded by all of that but was is really necessary to talk about it over breakfast? She couldn't even be bothered to ask how her brother was? He was away for weeks!
