!Leona x Reader! My King

Leona was having a rough time. You could tell just by the look on his face. He tried to put on a tough facade, but you saw right through it. You only partially understood why. Leona felt... inferior to Malleus. Losing against him for two years straight in Magift was hard on him. It was also because of his family. He was second born, meaning he was neglected, meaning no one ever saw his hard work, only his brother's.

"Even though we don't get a long that well, I'm really worried about him. He's not his usual snarky self," you thought.

"Hey MC! Come one let's go to class. I don't want Trein to give us extra homework because we are late!" Ace shouts to you.

"Alright coming," you replied. After class, you were gonna talk to Ruggie to see what was up with Leona.

TIME SKIP AFTER CLASS:

"Ruggie. Ruggie! Wait up!"

Ruggie turns around to see you jogging down the hallway to catch up to him.

"Oh, hey MC, ya need something?"

"Yea, I do. There's something up with Leona, but I can't place my finger on it. Do you know why he's acting so down?"

"I wish I could say MC. The truth is I don't even know myself. I always ask him, but he never tells me. Maybe you should come over to Savanaclaw to talk to him."

"Yea, alright. That's a good idea. Thanks, Ruggie."

"Anytime princess."

With that you turned around and ran down the hall to Alchemy, run by Divus, so you wouldn't be late.

Ruggie POV:

"Shishishishishi. Leona got a little surprise coming his way. Though I didn't want to lie to lovely MC, this will be good for Leona." With that Ruggie walks off towards the botanical garden to find a lazy, napping lion.

TIME SKIP AFTER SCHOOL AT SAVANACLAW (IT'S NEAR NIGHT):

YOUR POV:

You stepped through the mirror to Savanaclaw and found yourself in the desolate desert with a giant skull facing you.

"Nice to be back. This dorm has always had a nice touch to it."

You looked over at the Spelldrive practice area and got flashbacks to Leona's overblot.

"Maybe that overblot incident is what's bothering him as well..." you thought.

You sighed and started making your way into the dormitory. You walk inside and head to the lounge to find Jack as well as a few other students grouped together working on homework for Alchemy.

"Jack! Hey! I need to bother you for just one quick second. Do you mind?"

"Hmm. Oh, hey MC. Uh sure just give me a second."

Jack gets up and walks over to you.

"So, what do you need?"

"Well, I was hoping you could tell me where Leona is? I really need to go and talk to him."

"Huh? You want to talk to Leona? I mean he's up in his room, but maybe you shouldn't talk to him. He's in a really bad mood."

"Aww Jack, that's very nice of you to care :) "

"N-no it's nothing like that. I-I just don't want Leona to be in an even worse mood that's all." Jack explains, very embarrassed (AHHHHJACK TSUNDERE BBY.)
