Chapter 3 The Phoenix

T'Challa's Pov:

"It's so strange seeing a male." I said and Nakia looked at me.

"I'm glad I'm not the only one." Okoye said.

"I learned a lot about him while I was there...Anna said he can be very sassy." Nakia said when we heard laughing then a squeal then more laughter coming from the kitchen. I opened the door and walked in with the other two following me and I saw Shuri laughing as Tony blinked looking stunned...they were covered in flour.

"This is what happens when short people try to bake." Shuri said and Tony laughed...The noise made something in me flutter.

"Are you two having fun?" Okoye asked crossing her arms and they both froze.

"He/She did it." They both said pointing at each other before they both started to laugh again.

"I swear." Okoye laughed.

"What were you trying to do?" Nakia asked.

"Teach Tony how to cook...He was hungry and wants to try new things so I thought why not kill two birds with one stone." Shuri said.

"I'll cook something...go get cleaned up." I said and Tony looked stunned.

"An Alpha cooking...this place is weird." Tony said.

"Come on Tony...I'll show you where you can get cleaned up." Shuri said and I watched them leave.

"I'm glad Shuri has made a friend." Okoye said.

"He's probably starving now that I think about it...We had to share our food with him cause they never fed him." Nakia said.

"Why didn't he say anything?" I asked.

"Anna knows a lot more about Tony." Nakia said.

"I could get her." Okoye said.

"Please do." Nakia said as I got ready to cook...I heard Okoye leave as I got some vegetables out. "So...want to tell me what was with the look on your face?" Nakia asked.

"What look?" I asked.

"The one you made when he laughed." Nakia grinned and I ignored the smug look on her face.

"I'm just glad he's happy." I said cutting the vegetables.

"Or...you like him." Nakia said and I looked at her. "You do." She laughed.

"I barley know him." I said.

"Is the black panther getting a soft spot?" Nakia asked.

"No." I said and heard the door open.

"Anna...Hi." Nakia said and I looked at the Omega.

"Okoye said you wanted to talk." Anna said her short blond hair no longer looking dirty blonde.

"I'm curious about Tony...How long have you known him?" Nakia said.

"I met him at one of my old masters homes...He was just a little thing." Anna said.

"How little?" I asked.

"He was about 13." She said. "He had just been sold to her...the poor thing was so scared." Anna frowned.

"How did you get to those cells?" I asked.

"Well...Our master passed when Tony was 15. We got separated." Anna frowned. "Then when I ended up at the place...He had already been there for a month...I was horrified that he was with child." Anna said and I stopped cutting...What!?

"What happened to the child?" Nakia asked.

"I'm unsure...Tony never talks about it...I'll never forget the day though...He was in agony then they came...He started screaming and begging. Then he was gone and when they brought him back they just tossed him in a separate cell from us. He just curled up in the corner and didn't say a word." Anna said.
