Chapter 4 The King

Tony's Pov:

I frowned when I suddenly heard a lot of noise...What's going on? I got up and opened the library door walking out following the noises when I heard the crying.

"T'Chaka was killed." I felt my hear skip...The King died!? Didn't T'Challa go with him?

"My son?" The Queen asked as Shuri cried.

"He's alive and on his way home." Okoye said.

"We will have to prepare for the ceremony." She said and I snuck away...Poor Shuri...I went back into the library...I wonder what ceremony...I didn't see anyone for the entire day till Shuri finally walked in and sat down.

"Hey...everything ok?" I asked.

"My father is gone and my brother is king." Shuri said.

"Oh." I said.

"The people are calling for him to marry soon." She said.

"Is that bad?" I asked.

"He doesn't have anyone in mind so it's going to be forced on to him." She said.

"He's King...they can't do that." I said and she looked so heart broken. "Shuri...It'll be alright. T'Challa will be a great king." I said.

"You called him T'Challa." She said looking at me surprised.

"Uh...that's his name." I said and she smiled.

"I'm just..." Shuri said and started to cry...I pulled her into a hug. After an hour she calmed down and we all went to bed...The next day was boring...That night though...I startled awake and looked around confused. I heard loud bang and heard people talking.

"There is no one else here." I heard Okoye hiss...I cracked open the door and saw a guy kicking open a door...Okoye looked at me and tensed eyes going wide. I looked at the guy as he walked and Okoye gestured me to run...Where is T'Challa? Where is Shuri? I saw Okoye head into the room and I opened the door just enough to squeeze through before running...I ran quietly because I've escaped enough shit to know how to do it. I ran down the stairs and some of the guards tensed when they saw me.

"Tony...you need to get out of here...Head to the mountains it will be safe there." One of them said and I nodded. I had no idea where the fuck I was going but I ran till I was next to a little river...I ran and then froze...I sniffed...Hurt Alpha. I looked around confused till I saw T'Challa floating...Shit! I rushed over getting soaked as I dragged the Alpha out of the water.

"T'Challa?" I asked and patted his cheek...dammit. What do I do? I can't leave him...every instinct in me is screaming to help him. I was panicking because I don't know how to do this shit...I was in fucking cages most of my life. What was that thing...Anna taught me when I was young...CPR...that's it. I put my hand on hopefully the correct spot because he wasn't breathing and this made them breath. I counted as I pushed...Then swallowed...This is awkward. I tilted his head back and pinched his nose giving him air. He coughed up water and I sighed in relief.

"Tony?" I saw brown eyes slightly open and looking up at me.

"Well at least you're not dead." I said and he groaned closing his eyes. "Nope, stay awake...I need to help you and I have no clue how." I said and I heard a noise making me tense when an Alpha was looking at me. I snarled at him as I moved closer to the injured Alpha. He had Beta's with him...They grabbed me and I growled as I fought them...I watched as two Beta's lifted T'Challa and we were being taken somewhere...I was muzzled and hands tied because I may have kept biting people and punching people.

"Strong Omega." The Alpha I had punched earlier said. At least they kept me near T'Challa...I growled at anyone that came near us. "His Omega has been keeping guard and is very aggressive." I heard the Alpha from earlier say...He was coming closer.

"T'Challa doesn't have an Omega." My eyes widened...Is that? I watched them walk around the wall and Shuri's eyes widened.

"TONY!?" Shuri rushed over tackling me in a hug. "Are you ok? Wait why is this all on you?" She asked.

"He kept hitting and biting." The Alpha said.

"T'Challa." The Queen rushed over and I watched them as they gave him something.

"The Omega saved him." The Alpha said and the Queen cried looking at me then pulled me into a hug.

"You truly are a gift." She said and I swallowed...I don't know about that. She let go and Shuri moved toward me getting my muzzle off then freeing my hands.

"So...I saved him and you guys just buried him. Am I missing something?" I asked.

"He'll be ok...Are you ok?" Shuri asked and the Queen was also looking at me worriedly.

"Yeah...who was that guy?" I asked.

"Killmonger." Shuri growled.

"Well...that's a name." I said and T'Challa shot up out of the dirt breathing heavily but healed...What the fuck is that and how can I get some for the hole in my chest? T'Challa was hugged by his mom then Shuri and then he looked at me.

"Thank you." He said.

"Just doing my job as an Omega." I said shrugging and his eyes softened a little before he looked away.

T'Challa's Pov:

"You can't." Shuri said.

"I have to stop him." I said.

"We will but at least take a rest for like 10 minutes." Shuri said and I glanced at Tony. "I'm glad he's ok...I didn't have time to go get him." Shuri said making me look at her.

"You just left him there!?" I asked.

"I couldn't help it." Shuri said...If Killmonger had found him...Stop it. You are getting soft and that's dangerous.

"So what's the plan?" Tony asked.

"You are going to stay here with Shuri and my mother." I said.

"Like hell I am." Tony said.

"I'm not risking any of you." I said.

"Brother." Shuri said.

"No." I said and got up leaving them.

Shuri's Pov:

"He's such an idiot." I said.

"Well...He is an Alpha." Tony said.

"Not all of them are bad Tony." I said.

"I'm learning that." Tony said.

"What was going on with you and my brother in the garden?" I asked and Tony's face actually dusted a light pink.

"Nothing." He said.

"He gave you a flower." I said.

"Yeah...so it's just a flower." Tony said.

"Do you like him?"

"Who?"

"My brother."

"No."

"He put a flower behind your ear."

"That doesn't mean anything."

"He likes you."

"What?" Tony asked sounding shocked.

"My brother likes you." I said.

"No he doesn't." Tony scoffed. I bet he does...but I'll need more proof.
