Still debating on how long I want this story to be. Just cause the chapters for this story are longer than my usual stories.

Bruce knew that what he was doing was careless but he couldn't help himself; he really enjoyed Clark's company and if someone were to ask he wouldn't admit it. For the sake of his kids, Alfred, or Batman he knew that after their next two dates he'd have to slow down and distance himself from the reporter. He really enjoyed being around Clark but he knew he was getting too comfortable with him; he trained hard enough mentally to not crave intimacy like he use to. Something about Clark made him want to throw all of his training out the window.

He straightened his shirt and checked himself in the full length mirror before exiting his hotel room. Clark was waiting for him in the lobby and he couldn't help the giddy feeling that rested in his stomach. Bruce sucked in a deep breath as he entered the elevator. He always felt in control when he went on dates especially because he was the one that usually planned them but Clark somehow always took lead and Bruce thought that was refreshing. Though he initiated this date Clark informed him that he created an entire day for them to sightsee. Bruce felt his palms grow sweaty as the elevator door dinged open.

The hotel lobby buzzed with activity and Bruce could see all walks of life getting their days started just like him. A father was dragging two tired kids out of the hotel and from what Bruce could see neither of them wanted to go, a business woman was reapplying a coat of lipstick on her lips using the mirror in the lobby, and the bellboy was rushing to get the bags he needed to take to some of traveler's rooms. In the midst of it all Clark stood near the elevator; his body was relaxed and his t-shirt hugged him in all the right places. Bruce stepped out of the elevator and couldn't take his eyes off Clark. Outside of his usual business attire Clark was hiding a beautiful body. Not that Bruce cared about his body he just didn't expect someone as shy or kind as Clark to be as ripped as he was. It surprised him every time to say the least.

Clark finally noticed Bruce and a smile broke out onto his face. Bruce felt a blush reach his neck but he tried his best to seem casual as he walked up to the other man. He couldn't help but stare at Clark's eyes and note how beautiful they looked in the bright lobby; they were practically twinkling. Bruce wasn't sure what to do once he made it to Clark. A handshake felt too formal but a hug was too intimate. Bruce only gave him a smile and a soft greeting which Clark returned his expression never changing.

"I'm glad you messaged me." They started towards the door, "I couldn't think of a better way to spend my Sunday."

"Me either." Bruce spoke genuinely and he could see Clark's face burn a bright pink from his words.

"I was thinking we stop and get a coffee before we start running around the city." Clark opened the door for him and Bruce stepped through thanking him.

"Any places in mind?" Bruce looked back at Clark and noticed his eyes were wandering, "Clark?"

"Sorry." The smile on his face was sheepish and the blush had gone from pink to red.

"Couldn't help yourself?" Bruce teased and Clark let out a nervous laugh.

"If it makes you feel any better I tried really hard not to stare." Clark chuckled and Bruce only shook his head grinning.

"Are you always such a flirt?" Bruce followed Clark's lead as they crossed the street.

The sidewalks were bustling with life and Bruce took note of their surroundings. Cars blared their horns as they weaved through traffic and school children yelled out of a bus window as they passed. A man with a brief case ran past the two nearly knocking Bruce off his feet. Clark quickly placed his hand at the small of Bruce's back to stop him from falling over. Bruce felt a shiver go up his spine from Clark's touch but said nothing about it and hoped Clark didn't notice.
