A Whip and Twin Axes

A couple months had passed since the death game started. The following three floors were cleared remarkably fast. As of now two people were strolling through the Town of Beginnings. One was male, the other female. Friends from the outside world. The guy had spiky red hair, the female had overdone her customization. She gave herself pink skin and pink hair. Her body and facial structure were still hers, but she was completely pink.

"I still think you could have gone easy on the customizations, I mean you barely look human!" The guy said.

"Hey, if I want to look like my handle, then this is the cross I have to bare!"

"I'm just saying, we don't know how long we're gonna be in Aincrad, so we shouldn't get used to customization like this."

She simply shrugged, smiling. The guy checked his inventory. He was dissatisfied with the fact he still had his level 1 sword when he was already past level 20. She had also had a sword, but wanted a different weapon. They were looking for a smithy to get new weapons. But every single one they'd been to was too expensive. There was just one left. And they practically geeked out when they saw the name of it. The Musatafu Smithy. They entered and saw nobody in the shop. But they could hear conversation from the back.

"That crystal ore is extremely hard to find! Not to mention dangerous!" Todoroki said

"If we get that ore crystal, I could make amazing strong weapons!" Hatsume said.

"In order to even have a chance, we'd need at least one more person with us!" Yaoyorozu said.

"Oh please, us five are enough!"

"I know you better than that. You're an inventor, not a warrior." Iida said

"Well, what do you suggest?"

"Maybe we go out recruiting." Midoriya suggested.

Hatsume exited the back and saw the guy and girl looking at weapons. Her eyes lit up as Midoriya, Iida, Todoroki, and Yaoyorozu exited as well.

"Were you guys looking for new weapons?" Hatsume asked.

"Yeah," the guy answered, "I want something different from my level 1 sword, and--"

"And I want to see if I'm better with another weapon." The girl interrupted.

"Cool! Well, I have a wide variety here! Every single one of them made by yours truly!" Hatsume said.

They continued searching the inventory, both a bit less than impressed. The reason being they had seen more variety in every other shop they'd been to.

"Is this seriously it?" The guy asked.

"Well, we're low on ores. I asked them to help me get some from floor three," Hatsume pointed to the four in the doorway to the forge, "but they say they need at least one more person to get the ore crystals I want."

The guy and girl looked at each other and then to the four.

"I volunteer!" They said at the same time.

"Uh... great!" Midoriya said, "What're your names?"

"I go by Red Riot! But my actual name is Eijiro Kirishima." The guy said.

"Like Scarlet Riot or Crimson Looter?"

"Scarlet Riot, obviously. Why would I name myself after a villain?"

"And I go by Pinky!" The girl said

"I thought we couldn't use copyrighted characters." Midoriya said.

"I just have a Y at the end instead of an E and Y."

"Oh, like the heroine of the stars, Pinkey?"

"Exactly! Oh, by the way, my real name is Mina Ashido."
