It was the first time Klaus had let Idalia walk in the new world in over 70 years. She had been daggered the whole time.
Klaus only woke her when he needed her for an advanced spell or found himself lonely, which was rare.
Idalia walked through a small market and spotted a strawberry stand. She approached it and gave the elderly women enough money for a pack.
She thanked the woman and turned to leave. She gasped as she bumped into a man. "I'm so sorry."
"No, its fine, I wasn't looking." She answered him and looked to the dirty strawberries on the ground. She looked at the man, he had light brown hair with the most beautiful green eyes she had ever seen.
"I'm sorry." He apologized again, as she shook her head. "Seriously, it's fine." Idalia smiled at the man once more before going past him, leaving the market.
The man sighed and rubbed his head. He looked around him and saw the strawberry stand and then to the ones on the ground.
He walked toward the elderly woman who was already packing to leave. He payed for his pack and ran in the direction Idalia went.
She had gotten into a small forest nearby and sat on a log. The man gulped and tapped the women's shoulder. Idalia turned around with a frown. "Are you following me Sir?"
"I- no, well yes- maybe, that's besides the point!" Idalia raised a concerned eyebrow as the man stumbled over his words. "Listen, I felt horrible about you're strawberry's so-" He took out his hands behind his back with the strawberries.
Idalia's face brightened and took the strawberries. "You really didn't hav-" he cut her off. "But I did." The man raised his arm. "Stefan Salvatore."
"Idalia Mikaelson." She smiled at him. She looked behind her back. "Do you want to accompany me to cabin further in here? I can make some tea."
"Uh sure, yeah, I would love too." Stefan followed her as she lead the way further into the forest. Idalia stopped in front of the cabin. "I never really have any guests in here, I apologize if there's a mess."
Idalia opened the door and stepped. "Please, come in." He stepped into her home and admired it. "It's a beautiful place you have."
"Thank you, my father built it for me." Idalia quickly heated up some tea that she had. She poured the tea into two cups and brought them over to the table where Stefan had sat at. "Thank you."
