My Hot Bartender♡Diluc X NB!Reader

Life absolutely sucks. I started drinking quite a lot after my friend died. I never even got the chance to tell her how much I loved her. Never got to say goodbye. Me and her were exploring a place we had never been to before. It had many cliffs, narrow passage ways, and sharp rocks. I won't straight up say what happened, cuz it's a bit too gory for me to say. But uh.. let's just say we were going down a haha funny narrow passage we found, my friend accidentally "did a flip" off the edge, and got vibe-checked in the stomach by a sharp rock below.

It wasn't a pretty sight. I broke down crying and almost felt like jumping off to go with her. But, I pulled myself together and wished her peace in death. I never went back there ever again. I don't quite feel like accidentally coming across her decayed body from 3 years ago. It's hard for me to stay sober for long. I just can't handle remembering that terrible terrible day.

If you're looking for me, chances are I'm in Monstadt's most famous tavern. Angel's Share. Who would be looking for me anyway though. I don't associate with anyone else. I thought to myself as I went to enter the tavern. When I opened the door, I saw an unfamiliar face working at the tavern. This was a bartender I had never seen before. And man was he hot.. (haha funny pun haha diluc pyro teehee)

*Ahem* anyways.

I went up to the bar and sat down.
"What would you like?" The flamy haired guy said.

"I'll get a dandelion wine please." (this is not venti I swear)

"Sure."

Few words were spoken, but I already felt my face heating up. DANG this man was pretty. How can someone like him even exist??? I thought while the bartender was getting my wine.

When my order was done, I chugged it so fast I almost choked. The handsome bartender man raised an eyebrow at this, but said nothing.

"Another please!" I said.

"Alright.." Hot Bartender said, and got me another. Yes I named him Hot Bartender. I need something to name him. It's not like I have the courage to ask what his name is anyway.

My order was done now, and I drank it slower this time to not drown myself in wine.

After a while, I was out like a light. I was faintly aware of my surroundings though. I heard a *slightly* concerned voice near me. I couldn't hear what is was saying. All I caught was, "Y,... re
. yo.. ka..y....? Ake u....p....an...t..ha..e...ou.....sle...p..ng.....n..y.....av..r....." (Translation: "Hey, are you okay? Wake up. I can't have you sleeping in my tavern."

I think I also heard a frustrated sigh and then a sudden warmth covering my body. I didn't hear anything else after that except for a bit of shuffling, water lightly running, and the clinking of glasses.

I then fully fell asleep.

When I woke up, I could tell it was super early in the morning. It was bright, but still a little dark at the same time. Then I realised that there were voices talking.

"What were you thinking letting them stay here??!"

"Well, I didn't want to put them out on the street at night! What do you expect me to do? I don't know where they live."

"Did you try, I dont know.. asking them?!"

"They were completely incoherent! You don't think I tried a million times?"

"Aghh! Whatever. Just don't let this happen again." Then I heard a door slam.

The shouty person left, and then there was just the voice that I felt like I recognized for some reason.

"Tch.." The other voice scoffed. I decided to finally move and get up. The position I was in was kinda uncomfortable anyway.

"I see your awake." Said the other voice.

"Ah.. yeah. Hey um. I'm really sorry."

"It's fine. Just leave now. And next time, make sure you're sober enough to go home at least."

I finally recognized the voice! It was Hot Bartender!!

"So um.. how much is the bill?"

"For the amount of wine you drank last night or for passing out in your seat?"

"Uh... both."

"Well, it *would* be pretty high without me getting you off the hook."
I looked at him confused.

"I'm letting it slide *once*. It better not happen again, or you're really getting fined next time."

"Oh! R-really??" I said kind of lazily because I was still basically half-asleep.

"Wait.." I continued. "Why are you even doing this for me? You don't even know me! And I don't know you! I've never even seen you before!"

The Hot Bartender gave a sigh and started thinking really hard internally. I could tell. My old friend used to do that.
He stared at the ground for a few seconds and then finally said, "..I just felt like being nice. That's all."

"Now get out of my tavern and go home."

"Alright alright, I'm leaving. Thanks for this!" I said as I took off the blanket that was covering me and neatly folded it the best I could. So that's what that warmth was last night.. I thought.

I then headed for the door, but I was stopped suddenly by Hot Bartender.

"Hey.. um. What's your name?" he said.

"It's y/n.. why?"

"I.. just wanted to know you better. Keep in mind, I do this with all my customers whomst I haven't met before."

"And... you can call me Diluc."

"Okay then, Diluc. See ya 'round I guess!"
I give Diluc a tired smile and waved him off.

As soon as I'm slightly out of earshot, I hear Diluc mutter something under his breath.

"This person... why do I feel so odd around them.." (What y/n heard: "Is...er..o....n..hy...o...el....so....ei....d...ou...d....h....m.."

Okay looook I know these are supposed to be oneshots but likkkeeeee... I really wanna make this a bit longer.
