Lucy P.O.V.

It was the afternoon and we'd only taken breaks for food and sleep. I'd woken up seeing Natsu sleeping, but he was twitching and slowly thrusting his hips off the ground. "What do you think you're doing?" A man was standing behind me holding a knife. My eyes started to glaze over, and my body moved on its own. My mind still felt unfocused and mostly felt like I was in a dream. The fogginess wasn't all that unpleasant in fact I was starting to enjoy it.

Running into Natsu's arms I kissed him quickly and then went to grab the roast. The fire under the roast was burning brightly and it began to mesmerize me. Bending down the roast completely forgotten I stuck my hand out reaching toward the flames. Feeling arms around my waist pulling me back into his warm body.

"What were you thinking Luce? You could've hurt yourself." Natsu growled in my ear. Growling back, I pushed away from him and went back to the fire reaching into it and gathering the flames on my hand and pushing them into my mouth. Loving the taste, I kept in doing it until it was all gone. Pouting I picked up the roast and started chewing on it.

Natsu P.O.V.

I watched Lucy eating the roast on the ground surprised and if I'm being honest a little horny. When she growled at me, I wanted to grab her by the throat and force her submission, but that thought was replaced with stupefaction when she started eating the fire. It was like she was changing or morphing into a dragon slayer.

I went to pick her up so we could go back to the nest. She growled at me again holding the roast to her chest, but this time I wasn't going to take it. Roaring I tore the roast from her arms and threw it. Grabbing her neck, I pushed her to the ground. She began thrashing and fighting me but using my body I pinned her down.

"I think you forgot who's in charge." Leaning down I licked her mark and then bit down hard enough to leave teeth marks. Her thrashing had ebbed, but she still tried to push me off. "Natsu, I don't know what happened. My body just started doing those things by itself. I can't even eat fire. Why isn't my mouth or hand burnt? I am so confused." Her voice was broken up by sniffles. I could only continue trying to soothe her by purring to her and gently running my hands along her back. I felt terrible that I couldn't provide any answers for her, so I just shook my head. She leaned down on my body and soon soft snores filled my ears. Kissing her head, I picked her up and started towards the nest.
