Inside a pokemon center ash was calling professor sycamore with everyone else
Ash: hey professor sycamore
Sycamore: it's really great to see you ash
Y/n: sup professor
Sycamore: y/n its been awhile since we've last seen each other
Y/n: well I've been busy
Sycamore: still its great seeing you, anyways what is it you need from me
Ash: we want you to check something out
Bonnie holds squishy up for the professor to see
Ash: we've found just recently but even the pokedex doesn't know what it is so we thought you might know
Sycamore: that is a new one to me, it might be a new kind
Ash: you really think so
Y/n: if that's the case we're the first ones to have it
Sycamore: can you turn it around
Bonnie does a spin but Clemont laughs at her
Clemont: he meant squishy not you
Bonnie: oh
She turns squishy around for the professor to see
Sycamore: I've never seen it before
Bonnie: it feels squishy so I decided to name it that
Sycamore: I'll look into it, in the mean time look after it
Ash: right

With everyone taking a break in the forest with some of their pokemon out, squishy hops on rock platform and lays down with his gem glowing white from the sun
Serena: he sure loves the sun doesn't he
Clemont: I wouldn't be surprised if squishy was converting sun light to use as energy
Y/n: that's most likely the case
Bonnie began to brush an eevee
Y/n: who's eevee is that?
Serena: it's mine
Y/n: huh that's cool
Y/n began to approach eevee who backed away while y/n gained a confused look
Serena: eevee's a bit shy so it'll take a while for her to get use to you
Y/n: oh alright then
Serena: ta-da! It's finished
She shows Bonnie her bag that had an extra spot for squishy to get into after him and dedenne got into a little fight at the pokemon center. Bonnie grabs the bag and runs to squishy to show it
Y/n: *sigh* thank goodness now we don't have to hear them fight
This got serena to giggle at the little joke
Serena: alright eevee let's go practice for the up coming show
Y/n: come on pika let's go train a bit
