(takes place in the beginning of pokemon xyz. All characters are 18+ except for the kids obviously)
as ash was busy battling a random trainer it seems like another trainer has found his battle interesting, but something noticeable about this trainer...
Currently the group was out walking through a plain grass land. The reason for this? Well from what ash told y/n, hilda, and rosa. He had a pokemon that was staying there and needed to pick them up for his league team
Bonnie: we're finally here dedenne!
The little girl stretched out her arms as the pokemon on her shoulder jumped around. Y/n's eyes shined a bit as he saw a ground viewif the plains due to him and the group standing on a high point of a hill
Bonnie: I know you've been wanting to see goodra for a long time now!
Clemont: it's no surprise. Dedenne was really close with goodra
Y/n: wait ash your pokemon's a goodra?
Ash: yup.....didn't i tell you that?
Y/n: no. No you did not. All you said was that we're just going to grab your pokemon and get going
Ash: oh.......well it's a goodra.....ta-da..
Y/n: welp....is it strong?
Ash: oh yeah definitely strong
Once they heard that word. Y/n and pika looked at each other with a similar look in their eyes as they thought the same thing. The electric pokemon's cheeks sparked some lighting at the thought of a potential strong future opponent
Continuing to follow behind ash. The group was led to a bridge that they walked on until reaching a house that had an older looking man just outside filling his bucket full of water from the river that went under the bridge
Ash: hey there!
Serena: hi keanan. It's great to see you again
Keanan: its great to see all of you as well. So, who are the new folk?
Y/n: yo, I'm y/n and this is pika
Rosa: im Rosa
Hilda: and I'm Hilda
Keanan: nice to meet you all
Ash: anyways, we came to see goodra
Keanan: goodra's by the springs
Ash: perfect, we'll go over there
Another long walk later. The group were now walking through a field before coming across what was supposed to be the springs
