Clemont pulled out a mini robot that resembled the one y/n fought when he had to get his 5th badge
Serena: clembot?
Y/n: clem what?
Clemont: it's design is inspired by my original clembot, the very machine I left in the lumiose gym
Rosa: no wonder it looked familiar
Y/n: the gym was kind of easy
Clemont: really? I designed it to be a challenging opponent
Y/n: for others it might be. but for me, I need to be battling someone with flesh and not bolts
Clemont: I see....well anyways, this version of clembot is my new revolutionary analysis machine. it's called, clembot mini. now the results of the analysis please
The little robot's eyes glowed white before it made a hologram showing the battles of both y/n and ash's greninjas when they were surrounded by water
Clemont: up until now, y/n's greninja has showed changes three times while ash's greninja has changed two times. I've also noticed the changes only take place during a battle, and that both greninjas have a small resemblance of their trainers. I believe this is related to a psychological element between all of them
Bonnie: psychological?
Y/n: that's a big word
Clemont: that's right. in other words, it's a mental change. and because of that both ash and greninjas movements look a like. y/n and yami however....
Y/n: however what?
Clemont: despite your movements looking a little like each other, they also seem like as if they aren't in sync and are trying different things
Hilda: it's starting to seem like what olympia told you
Y/n: .........who?
Rosa: (sigh) the seventh gym leader
Y/n: oh her......yeah it kinda does
Ash: she told you the same thing?

Clemont: sawyer did say that trainers and pokemon with deep bonds start to look alike. maybe that's what can be happening to the four of you. and now I think it's time to prove my hypothesis
