So little known fact, for the participants who pass the first battle, they get a free night in luminous city's hotel. And that's exactly where y/n was along with the girls, all of whom were getting ready as the next round of battles were supposed to be going on soon. y/n was putting on his shoes while he sat on the living room couch. He suddenly heard a knock on the door

Y/n: pika can you get that?

The electric pokemon who was busy, was laying down infront of the ac enjoying the cool breeze it gave off. He released a groan before turning to his side, just as he did another knock went off

Y/n: pika, I'm busy with my shoes. the girls are still getting ready. You're not doing anything, just do it real quick

Releasing a groan once again, pika got up from the floor and went to the room's door. Since it was a handle, pika hopped up to grab it and pull it down letting the door open up. Once pika saw who was behind it, he was surprised before quickly running back to y/n while pointing to the door

Y/n: huh? Who is it? Hey you can come in!

Seeing who it was as the person entered the room while closing the door behind, y/n's face lit up at the sight

Y/n: well well, what is the sinnoh champion doing in my room?

Cynthia: is it wrong for a friend to pay a visit?

Y/n: i forgot, is friend a light word or strong word when it comes to us?

Cynthia: (giggles) that's for you to decide. Anyways, that was quite the battle yesterday. Using only one pokemon against three

Y/n: hah! Loki could've taken down that person's whole team

Cynthia: I believe that's what you told me when it came to weavile, right?

Y/n: his name's vivi, and was I wrong?

Cynthia: when it came to others? Yes, but me? No

Y/n: ah, you got lucky anyways

While they continued to talk, cynthia grabbed pika who was on y/n's lap and began to pet the little electric pokemon. The other girls soon walked out the bedroom, and we're all surprised, Serena a little more, by the fact the sinnoh champion was in the living room talking with y/n

Serena: uh, y/n?

Y/n: whats up?

Serena: whats the sinnoh champion doing here?

Y/n: she's just paying a visit

Rosa: it better not be more than that

Cynthia: oh please, its not what you think......besides, if it was, he would've had me bending over at this moment

Serena: eh?
