as ash was busy battling a random trainer it seems like another trainer has found his battle interesting, but something noticeable about this trainer...
While still on there way to snowbelle city everyone decided to take a break in the forest to make lunch but 2 people couldn't just wait and decided to battle to pass time
Ash: frogadier let's go
Y/n: yami appear

When y/n's frogadier comes out ash gains a surprised look
Ash: wow you got another rare looking pokemon
Y/n: yup bet your jealous
Ash: a little, frogadier use water pulse!
Y/n: yami dark pulse now!
Both attacks cause dust to appear but when it clears yami isn't seen
Ash: keep your guard up frogadier
Frogadier nods but jumps to the side to dodge a water pulse from yami who goes back to y/n's side
Y/n: seems like frogadier has quick reaction time but that won't help you here, yami scald!
Ash: frogadier use bubble
Again both attacks cause dust but suddenly yami comes out the dust catching frogadier by surprise and uses aerial ace sending frogadier across the field
Ash: ah! frogadier you ok
Frogadier: frog!
He nods and gets up with little struggle
Ash: alright frogadier use dubble team then use quick attack
Y/n: yami use bubble then ice beam
Multiple frogadiers appear charging at yami at a face pace but he uses bubble destroying all the clones and uses ice beam on the last one but he dodges it on the last second
Ash: your frogadier is pretty strong y/n
Y/n: yours too he's been keeping yami on toes
Ash: in that case, frogadier use cut!
Y/n: yami use cut to!
Both pokemon rush each other both getting in a lock before both jumping back
Y/n: alright ash what do you say we rap this up!
Ash: yeah, frogadier use-
Rosa: hey foods ready you two!
Y/n: maybe next time we might see who'll win but for now I'm hungry
