CHAPTER 8

As I woke up I was in the tube it slowly began to open.

"Sage, Sage" I heard as I woke up. I opened my eyes to see a flashlight shining into them. "How you feelin?"

"Like a million bucks" i retorted smirking.

"Good to see you haven't changed," Grace said sarcastically rolling her eyes.

"Is the avatar safe?"

"Yes ma'am" I said with a smirk, winking at her. She just rolled her eyes once more.

It was lunch now and I decided to eat in a my room. It's where I would feel most comfortable. Once I was done I quickly ran to the link room and got in ready to go back to the clan.

When I woke up it was time for training. I got out my net carefully trying not to fall to my death. I began to walk around and find tsu'tey when a little girl and her mother walked up to me. I didn't notice till now but her mother was holding a baby.

"Can I help you, little one?" I questioned the little girl.

"Can you play with me?" I glanced to the mother for approval and she nodded giving me a soft smile.

"Of course, sweetheart." I said with a smile. As we began to play I learned her name was ken'ie and her mom mothers name was, lideh. As we were playing I began to hum a French song from earth. I held the baby as we all danced. I spun ken'ie around as we danced.

"Sagesmith? What are you doing" I tuned to see tsu'tey I smiled at him and replied dancing.

"Join us" I said smiling even wider. As ken'ie went to her mom I held my free hand towards him. He warily took my hand.

"How do you do this"

"Put you hand on my hip and mine will go behind you neck." He seemed suspicious so I just rolled my eyes and put my arm around his neck. He instantly put his hand on my waist.

I began to hum again and we danced to the rhythm his eyes looked at the child's face before looking into my eyes.

He spun me around as we danced out of o corner of my eye I could see jake and Neytiri looking jealously at us.

To make matters worse they just had to point out that we needed to train.

"We must train now"

"Sir, yes, sir!" I said preforming a mock salute. He just rolled his eyes at me.

I quickly gave the baby back to her mother, I didn't usually like children but I did also like them it's confusing I know.

As we began waking to the "horses"? We quickly began to get started he demonstrated how to connect with it.

"Shhhh" I whispered to it. I quickly got on top of the horse. Before petting it slightly trying to calm it down as I did this I took time to look at tsu'tey. I gave him a wink as I smirked connecting my tail with the horses antenna looking thing.

I felt the bond begin and I smiled as I closed my eyes.

"Not bad, for a beginner." He said in a snarky way. I just humphed I could care less what he thinks.

"Beginner" I grumbled.
