once we finished the song Hailey and I stared at each other for a minute and then Zander said "Hello-? earth to Jake & Hailey!!" that broke the staring contest between us. Five days left to competition we were excited and scared at the same time, the scary thing is that we haven't started to practice for our duet yet, we had to start to it tomorrow.
We heard the bell rang that means our classes are about to start so we had to go. We had the same class with Hailey and Zander, we head through our classes and Hailey and i sit next to each other.

the lesson was very boring so i decided to start a conversation with Hailey but when i turned my face to her i noticed she was already looking at me. I asked her what should we do after class, she said we should check on our duet one last time and i agreed.
When we heard the bell rang we rushed to music room and we both sitted to the table to check the lyrics, It was so perfect i couldn't hold myself and said "lets sing it now" then she said "without the instruments?" i said yes i was feeling so confident at that time but she got shy and didn't wanted to sing and i didn't forced her either.
after school i catched up with Hailey to ask her if we could practice the duet somewhere, she replied "i know a empty place where we can practice and im free,lets ask others" after we asked to others they all agreed and we headed to the place that Hailey was talking about.
we didnt had our instruments but just Haileys guitar so we had to sing without the song Hailey was a bit nervous, i calmed her down. We named our song as "You Got Me Too" (You got me too-by Loving Caliber)
