You hop out of bed, its decently nice outside but you feel great. Today is a wednesday. You run down the stairs, fix your hair then change. Today you have lots of time to make your favorite breakfast, thanks to the alarm clock Sun gave you. After eating you start your truck and head to the daycare, you have a feeling today is gonna be great
Timeskip~
You where wrong, so wrong. opon entering the first thing you notice is all the glitter glue everywhere.
"SUN!" you yell, he isn't in the main area
"H-Hi old friend..." Sun stutters as he apears out of the spare room, he notices your angry
You stare at eachother for a second. Sun has glitter glue all over his face. You facepalm
"Okay, this is gonna sound crazy but i had nothing to do with the glitter glue. I swear" Sun says quickly
"ughhhhhh i don't care lets just go." you groan, grabbing his hand and leading him to the main area
You where a little angry at first but now you can hardly hold in your laughter. The children made quite a bit of the mess, so Sun is making them help too, They all are scrubbing glitter glue off of everything. There is gonna be a lot of cleaning today... Just as you are about to grab some more cleaning products Vanessa peeks through the door
"psst, pssst. Y/N." whispers Vanessa "Come over here for a second."
You where suprised at first but quickly follow the Vanessa as she waves and gestures you to come with her.
"why so secretive?" you ask
"Well.... i found these old robots and costume looking things. i think the robots might still work but i have no idea what these suits are" Vanessa gestures to an old robot that seems to have a crank laying beside it
"prehaps a wind up robot or something?" you try to shrug it off but something about it seems framiliar...
"im going to get our new repairman, Martin, to work on it." says Vanessa "And your probably wondering why im telling you this right?"
you nod, a feeling of danger creeping up your spine
"Well i want you to help too. i heard you have a history with robots and could prehaps put some new lights in here, as well as help repair the robots." says Vanessa happily
"W-will i still work in the daycare" you ask quickly
"Oh of course!" replies Vanessa "Both Sundrop and Moondrop work great with you!"
"Uh and when will i start..." you ask cautiously
"Tomorrow hopefully!" Vanessa exclaims "But you better go and see Sundrop. Tell him whats up, or he might be confused and think you quit or something."
"Oh-okay. i'll see you later." you reply quickly as you wave and head out the door
"Wait!" exclaims Vanessa "I know you dont have any tools so i'll let you leave work early to buy some. Condsider this a gift."
"Okay. Thankyou very much!" you hury out of the door, you shiver,that was so creepy and framiliar all at the same time.
You run to go see Sun and tell him your new schedual quickly.
"Awww really?" he replies "I already don't see you much..."
"Sun you see me every day. Exept on the weekends and holidays!" you chuckle
"Isn't that long enough..." he throws his head back and puts his hand on it, he's trying to be dramatic or something
"I know, i know" you laugh "Your life is soooo hard!"
he smiles and carries you out to your truck, ignoring your plea not to be carried anymore
"Okay i'll see you later then starshine!"
You smile and wave as you start your truck and drive out of the parking lot. Both him and Moon are so funny. They are helping you get over your fear of robots too. So it's a win-win!
....
After that the rest of the day is a blur, you grab your tools and some groceries and get home. by then its late enough to go to bed, you could always use some extra sleep.
