Chapter 3

* 4 weeks later *

Jake and I have known each other for about a month now. We have been hanging out almost every day, he comes and sees me at work and we have lunch together. Also, his brothers have gotten really close with my sisters but, enough about them. Today is Friday and I'm so glad because I don't have to work tomorrow and don't get me wrong I love my job but, I have been working all this week and I just need a break. And plus Jake says we're going on a date tonight and I'm excited about that. I think I'm falling for him and you know what, I don't even care. He said that he is going to pick me up at my apartment.

* 1 hour later *

I get off of work and now I'm in my car heading home. Now I have an apartment but, I share it with my best friend Evelen, we have known each other since 2nd grade and now we have an apartment together and I love it. We have fun and we have nights that we play board games or do face masks and watch movies. There was this one night when Evelen's boyfriend came over and Evelen and I begged him to do a facemask with us. He did, Evelen, and I couldn't stop laughing. It was a good night. I park my car and walk up to my apartment. " Well, hello Ms. Hippie girl, what are you doing today?" My wonderful neighbor George says. Nickname I call him is Harrison because he is British and also because of George Harrison. I go over there a lot because we like to have tea and listen to music together and I love it it's the best part of my day, and sometimes his husband comes and hangs out with us. " Oh, I'm doing good, I'm actually going out on a date tonight with this guy I met at the record store." I say with a smile on my face, " Ooo, well come on in I want to hear all about it." George says with a smirk on his face, " Now don't get any ideas we have only known each other for a month." " Well, honey Eric and I knew each other for 2 days, and by that time we already had sex!" I choke on the water that I have, " OH MY GOD, Harrison, your nasty!" I say, " Sorry, it's the truth though and it was the 70s, who wasn't nasty at that time." He says, " Yeah I guess your right." I say, " Honey, I know I'm right, but besides that what's this handsome guy that caught your eye's name?" He says while sipping his hot tea. " Well, his name is Jacob but he says to call him Jake." " Ooh, do you know what he does?" " Yeah, but all he said was he works with his brother and their best friend Daniel, but that's all he told me." That night was fun when he told me because we went to the beach late at night and it was fun. Harrison and I talk for about an 1 hour. I look at the time on my phone and see that it's 5:30 pm and Jake is supposed to pick me up at 6:30 pm. " Oh, I have to go and get ready for the date!" I say a little panicky. " Honey, calm down it's going to be ok, go and have fun. Say hi to Evelen for me." He says I give him a hug and walk to the door. " I will, love you!" "Love you too, and have a great date with Jake." With that, I close the door and walk to my apartment. I open the door and I hear music playing in the kitchen. " Hey, El I'm home and I almost forgot Harrison says hello!" I yell, " Hey, Soy how was your day?" She says, "It was good, but I have to get ready for a date with Jake." " Ok, oh by the way Taylor is coming over tonight." She says with a smirk on her face, " Ooo, Evelen is going to get some tonight!" " Oh shut the fuck up." I just laugh and walk to my room and into my bathroom.

After the shower I walk to my room and turn on my music, well my hype playlist, " Dandelions" by Ruth B. starts to play. I start to put on a natural makeup look nothing too big. " Cause I'm in a field of dandelions, Wishing on everyone that you'll be mine, mine!" I sing, after I get done with my makeup, I go to my closet and find a pair of ripped flowy jeans and a sage green shirt that has leaves on it. I put on my socks and then I find a pair of my red converse. I walk out of my closet and put my rings back on my figures and I put my hair in a messy bun. I put on my glasses so I can see and look at myself one last time and I think to myself 'I look fucking hot!' I turn off my music and hear talking in the living room. I think that Taylor is here, I'm looking for my phone and I can't find it anywhere, I walk out of my bedroom. " Hey, El have you seen my phone anywhe-" I look up and I'm met with those beautiful dark brown eyes. " H-Hey," I shudder GOD why does this man have this effect on me. " Hi, you look very beautiful!" He says with a big smile on his face. " Thank you, you look handsome yourself." He is wearing dark blue skinny jeans and a button-up baby blue color shirt, but he only has it halfway buttoned, with a necklace on. Evelen walks out of the kitchen with Taylor walking right behind her. " Here is your phone Soy." She says with a bright smile on her face and hands it to me. " Thanks, El," " Well we better get going." I say, " Yeah we should," Jake says. We start to walk to the door, Jake opens it for me and before we step out Taylor says, " You better take good care of her, or I will beat your ass. You kids have fun!" Taylor has always been like a brother to me when I first met him I didn't like him because he was stealing my Evelen from me, but after I got to know him we got closer, him and I will joke around a lot. " I will I promise, I wouldn't let anything happen to her!" Jake says, I look back at Evelen and Taylor, Taylor has a smirk on his face and gives me a thumbs up and Evelen mouths ' Text me when you get there, and use protection' and I just mouth ' Fuck you ' playfully, we both giggle. Jake and I walk out of the door and it closes behind us. Now here is where the fun starts!

Sorry, it took me a little bit to update. It was the last couple of days until summer vacation so I had to finish school. And now I'm on summer vacation!!! so I will be updating a lot more for you guys.
