Today was the day that I was going on a date with Matthew. I had no clue what we were going to do but he said to dress casual. I invited Milla to help me to get ready and I'm going to do the same with her and Hayes' date.
She arrived and I already took a shower so she headed straight to my closet and picked out an outfit (outfit at top).she started to do my hair which was a loose side Dutch braid. She left out some strands of hair and curled those parts.
She fixed up my makeup and handed me a black bag to carry my stuff in and that's when I heard the doorbell ring. I'm so nervous. I shakily walked downstairs toward the door and opened it.
There stood a very handsome Matt. He was wearing a black diamond shirt and khakis with blue vans. He had his hair down because he knew I loved it that way. He had a white rose in his hand held out to me. "Awe!" I heard Milla say behind me. "You can go now, M." I laughed. She rolled her eyes and laughed.
I smiled at him and hugged him tight. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in closer. "You look stunning." He said pecking my lips. "You don't look half bad either." I winked. I grabbed the flower and put it in water. We headed out to his truck and he handed me a blindfold.
"What do I need this for?" I teased. He rolled his eyes and told me its a surprise. I put it on and we say there listening to music. He stopped the car and helped me out the car. We walked a couple steps and then he stopped. He took my blindfold off and what was revealed was a carnival.
It had these little booths with different activities and little booths with consessions and roller coasters. My favorite out of anything in there was probably the Ferris wheel. I love going at the top and feeling the wind in my hair and the freedom and also looking down at the lights just amazes me.
We started off with a water-clown thingy where you shoot the water into the mouth of the clown and you get a prize. I won that one because I am really good at aiming. I won a small panda bear stuffed toy. Then we went to the basketball one and he won that one. We just went from booth to booth having a great time.
It was getting dark and we had done everything but the Ferris wheel. We stood in line and waited our turn. Once we got to the front the guy up front asked us who is going. Matt said both of us and we got on. As the door closed I swear I saw the worker guy wink at me but I ignored it.
The ride started and didn't stop until we were at the top. I heard a little voice from below saying that the ride was stuck so we had to wait for about 30 minutes for it to be fixed. I didn't mind. I loved it up here and now that it was dark I could see all the city lights and the carnival lights brighten up the sky. I was just staring in awe because it was so beautiful.
I turned to Matt and saw him already staring at me with a goofy grin on his face. I looked down and blushed. He put his hand on my cheek. I looked up and met eyes with his chocolaty brown ones. I saw a little glint in his eyes. I smiled probably looking like and idiot. He started leaning in. I felt his soft plump lips on mine as they started moving in sync.
It was like a little mini make out session until we felt the Ferris wheel move under us. He rested his forehead against mine and smiled. "I need to ask you a question..." He trailed off. "What is it?" I ask curiously.
"Will you, Audrey Maloley, be my girlfriend?"
