Lies In The Family (Tribe Nine)

Despicable

Ojiro was up late having to work on preparations. He did not want to do this at all, and he especially did not want to have Yui just smiling at the fact this was pinned on him.

"It's really late, I'm gonna go pass out" Ojiro announced getting up.

"You still haven't written vows" Yui reminded.

"I never met the girl, how am I supposed to do that??? I'll come up with it later"

He left the room yawning, and saw a few guards running down the hall. Curious, he followed them to the children's cells. There was yelling, and it sounded like a child.

"Oka"

He ran down towards her room, and guards were grabbing her wrists as she cried.

"LET HER GO!" He yelled.

They jumped doing so, and Oka ran to him hugging his waist crying.

"The HELL are you doing?!" Ojiro demanded.

"She started screaming in her sleep," the guard explained. "We're bringing her to the room where the rest go for the night"

Ojiro looked down seeing Oka still clinging to him, and sighed trying to pull her off.

"Oka, let go!" Ojiro demanded.

"I can't! You were dead"

"I'm not dead, now stop!"

He pulled her off glaring, and she looked at him sad but worried. He knelt down on his knee, and hugged her as she hugged back sobbing on his shoulder. He picked her up still higging, and walked to her bed putting Oka on her bed as she laid back down. He hummed the song again, and Oka smiled closing her eyes. and he got up again walking out of the room closing it.

"Don't mention this to Tenshin!" Ojiro threatened.

"Of course prince Ojiro" one of them squeaked.

The guards left, and Ojiro stayed silent but walked outside. He stopped by the ledge, and sat looking at the city.

"Seems to me you don't want to be here" he heard.

"...Kazuki, why can't you go away?"

Kazuki smiled sitting next to him.

"Because you can't get rid of me that easily. So, heard you were getting married. Now I get why you didn't want me to kiss you"

Ojiro facepalmed.

"I don't even count it," Ojiro answered. "I never even met them. And I didn't want you to kiss me, because I don't like you that way"

"Sure you don't. That's why you said before we should get married when we got older"

"I was 5 Kazuki"

"Still. The heart wants what it wants. So you're telling me no feelings at all?"

"No. I don't want to talk about this anymore"

"I'm not letting you off the hook that easily, but I'll drop it for now. Just know if you ever want to kiss me, I'm more than happy to"

"Yeah, whatever"

Kazuki looked behind him.

"Looks like they want you" he told Ojiro. "That's my que to leave"

Kazuki got up and jumped to the next building. Ojiro watched him go out of sight, and got up walking back to the Castle. He was called to the Throne room, and Tenshin looked like he was in a good mood.

"Good news Ojiro," he began. "Chiyoda has found a solution to win this war"

"How sir?" he asked.

"Rumor has it, Ota Tribe has a device that can sabotage the Empires. We need to get it"

Ojiro raised a brow.

"Wouldn't that be cheating?" Ojiro asked.

"Who cares? It means this war can finally begin, and a blood bath can be throughout Tokyo"

"I will not do anything unless it's fair, and with honor-"

"Watch your tone with me Boy! Playing fair is what makes you weak. I'll do whatever it takes to win, if it means we cheat, we cheat!"

Ojiro's Hand went into Fists.

"I will not participate in such acts" Ojiro growled.

"ENOUGH! I'm done with your childish comments. Unless you want me to get kill that little girl, you will do what you're told!"

Ojiro looked down at the Pool of Blood by his Feet, and back at the lifeless Tenshin who was missing his Heart.

"Despicable. We fight with honor, no shortcuts father. I don't care what it takes, you're not fit to be ruler anymore"

Yui walked in gasping, but chuckled.

"Seems Tenshin may be out for the count," she said. "Making you the new ruler. Let me get you a better uniform fit for a King"

"And Yui?"

"Let Oka out?"

"Yes. She won't be a part of the training group anymore, she is free to roam the Castle now"

"As you wish my lord"
