Haru's bat was held in place, but he wasn't gonna allow Chiyoda win. He had to win for his friends, and for Shun.
He yelled, and shot it into the sky past Ojiro. Ojiro ran after the ball, and grabbed it running after Haru. He turned the corner, and took a shortcut bolting towards Haru.
He sped up, but Kazuki blocked him.
"Ojiro, Chiyoda is crumbling around you!" Kazuki warned.
"I don't give a damn!" He answered.
"Both of you," Kazuki told Haru and Taiga. "Go. I'll handle this"
They both took off, and Ojiro glared as Kazuki made him let go of his hand.
"Ojiro...you never will know the shame I felt when I was cast out. How ashamed I was that you beat me. But more importantly...that I couldn't take you with me from that horrible place...that you put your feelings aside because Tenshin wouldn't allow it"
"Shut up Kazuki, I don't want to hear this anymore"
"It's okay, Tenshin is gone. You don't have to hide it anymore"
"I said SHUT UP!"
They fought, and Kazuki fell into the wall.
"You're delusional," Ojiro growled. "You don't know what you're talking about. We were kids, and I was confused. That's it"
Kazuki stood up.
"I understand" he told him.
Then, Kazuki took off his cast revealing his arm.
"I understand you're afraid," Kazuki said. "Afraid if one person beats you, it makes you look weak. If I can't make you understand...then we're gonna just have to fight this out"
"Kazuki, don't be stupid. Get out of my way"
Kazuki sped at him, and they fought. Kazuki was up against a piller with his arm bleeding, and looked at Ojiro.
"Ojiro...please..."

"Ojiro...please..."
Once Ojiro's foot connected with his arm, Kazuki screamed in pain.

Ojiro looked at Kazuki, and ran off towards 3rd base. He caught up to Haru and Taiga, and they fought.
"XB is fun, and you turned it into a gambling brawl" Haru told him. "You took that away"
"Fun??? Your ignorence is very annoying. XB is law, nothing more"
"You're wrong. It is so much more, and it only gets better with others. Doing it isolated is lonely"
"People are just obsticles holding you back" Ojiro growled.
"Nobody gets stronher on their on, not even you. Ans especially qhen something like this happens"
Taiga unexpectedly punched him into one of the buildings. A few pillers fell, and he was trapped.
No, he wasn't going to give up. He grunted trying to get his hands free, but they were pinned by the beam.
"Damn it" he muttered.
Then, he heard grunting. He looked over, and Oka was trying to lift the Beam.
"Oka, stop" he ordered.
"I can get you out!" she exclaimed trying again.
"Enough! Get out of here, it's not safe"
"Please...let me help"
He had no choice if he had a chance on getting free.
"...Get Kazuki. He's the guy with the blue hair. Get him and he'll help. Run straight and take a left down the street. He should be there"
Oka hesitated, but nodded running out of sight taking a left. He grunted trying to lift it, and sighed.
A few minutes later, she returned with Kazuki and he tried to help lift.
"Oh my god Ojiro," he grunted. "What is the point of all those pushups, when you can't even lift a damn piller?!"
"My arm is stuck genius" Ojiro commented. "Now help me get it free"
Kazuki looked, and lifted up a bit grunting as Ojiro got his arm free. He grabbed it, and grunted lifting it off of him getting up dropping the piller.
"Still don't believe in friends?" Kazuki asked.
"...Just, help me beat them" Ojiro answered.
"What about her?" Kazuki asked.
"Oka, stay outside of the stadium. Hide, I'll find you"
Oka nodded and ran off.
"You gonna tell me who that was?" Kazuki asked.
"One of the children Tenshin tried to recruite. I fought back"
Kazuki smiled a bit.
"You do have your mother's Heart huh?"
"Shut up"

They found Haru and Taiga, and they fought fpr one last time. Ojiro had the ball in hand, and they fought trying to make one of them lose. And without Ojiro noticing it, for the first time in years he was enjoying XB. Before he knew it, he was cracking a smile.
"See? What did I tell you? This is fun!" Haru told him.
Ojiro's smile faded, but returned again not caring to admit Haru was right.
He ran after him as he was near the 4th base.
"More" him and Haru thought.
They got into combat again.
"More power," they thought simultaneously. "More strength. More speed. More! More! More!"
As Haru almost got to the stadium, Ojiro grabbed his arm smirking again.
"You're done for!" He exclaimed.
As he was about to punch him, a bunch of rebel fell on top of him and he let go of the ball.

Ojiro woke up grimicing. His hand went into a fist, and he realized he wasn't holding the ball anymore.
"...I lost" he said quietly.
He was pulled out of the rubble, and Kazuki was there smiling.
"Kazu...ki..."
"To starting fresh. You may lose some, but it doesn't mean you can't get stronger. Look...I know you resent me because of Tenshin...but he's gone now. Nobody will ever judge you again, especially if you care about someone. So, let's syart out own tribe. Only, you may have to stay behind my ace spot"
Ojkro hesitantly lifted his hand, and held his cheek. Kazuki smiled holding it, and looked at him happily as the pillers crumbled around them as they leaned in and kissed.

Kazuki helped Ojiro out of the stadium, and they found Oka hiding in a tree. They all went in a nearby car, and Kazuki turned on the vehicle as they sped off. Ojiro was leaning up against the car door weak, but still held Kazuki's hand as they both smiled a bit.
"...What now?" Oka asked.
"Now," Kazuki told her. "We start fresh. I've always wanted to go to Austrailia, maybe there. What do you think Ojiro?"
"Sounds good to me" he answered. "Starting fresh sounds nice"
He held Kazuki's hand a little more firmly, and Kazuki smiled doing the same as they sped out of Neo Tokyo.
