Mabel laughs as I tickle her tummy. I am trying to distract her. When was lunch going to be ready?

"Honey, when will lunch be ready?" I call.

After a moment, Pookie yells that lunch will be ready soon.

I take Mabel, Bombo, and Kembi to the bedroom, and I place them in their cribs. I smile at them before going to find my mom.

I find her in the dining room, along with my wife. Pookie already set the table, so now we can eat.

My mom smiles at me and digs in. My mother told me that she was never really killed, but saved by the conservationists, just like I was. I'm overjoyed to know the truth, and I appreciate the people who care for me now, and what is to come. My family is my life now, and I couldn't be happier.
