Maddie's P.O.V Friday

I sat on the couch waiting for Miles to pick me up it was about 6 and we were going to go to Jitters I herd a car horn telling me he was here I stood up and so did Joe he hugged me

"Bye"i said "Bye"he said I walked outside and he stood there he was waring a green and black plaid shirt with a blue bowtie and black jeans and his glasses

"Wow"he said as I walked to him I smiled "you look amazing"he said "thanks"i said we got in the car I sat next to him in the back "I hope you don't mind"he said i look to him "my brothers driving"he said sounding embarrassed

"It's okay"i said reassuring him "when we got there Patrick,his brother,dropped is off saying he'd be back in an hour Miles got the door for me and I stepped inside we sat in a booth by the door

A waitress came over to take our order "I have a hot coco with whipped cream and cinnamon and a chocolate brownie sundae no nuts please"i said she nodded "I'll have the same"miles said and she put our order

"You like cinnamon on your hot coco too ?"I asked he nodded "my favorite kind"he said "so why did you ask me here not that I don't want to be here or anything"he said i looked at my empty plate and said "because I really really like you and I wanted to know if you like me too" I said

"Well I don't like you"he said I looked up at him and frowned "I really really like you"he said I smiled and reached across the table and punch his arm "ow"he said rubbing his arm I laugh as my phone rang

I took it out of my purse calling was felicity weird "hello"i said answering "Hey Madison its Felicity"she said "Felicity I've told you you can call me Maddie"i said smiling as our drinks came out

"Right sorry just called to see if Barry got back safely you know to make sure
He um is okay"she said "What are talking about Barry isn't back yet"i said confused "that's not possible he left wensday night"she said I looked at Miles worried he mouthed what at me but I didn't answer him

"Did you try calling him"i asked worried "yeah that's why I called you he isn't answering me"she said "okay I'll try call you back later"i said hanging up before she could answer

"What's wrong who was that"he asked "a friend I think something's wrong with Barry"i said I went to contacts and selected his it rang about six time then went to voicemail "this is Barry can't be reached right now so leave a message and I'll get back to you later"it said then left a beep

"Hay Bar Felicity just called said you left Wensday so um were are you I'm worried call me as soon as you get this love you bye"i said then hung up

"Miles I'm so sorry but I have to go"i said he nodded "it's okay go let me know how Barry is when you know"he said I smiled and got up "thanks"i said I walked to him and bent down and kissed his cheek then walked out leaving a smile on his face

I ran to the police station and took the elevator up the doors opened and I ran to Joe "hey aren't you supposed to on a date"he said but his smile faded when he saw I was upset

"Have you herd from Barry"i asked worried "no why"he asked confused "Felicity said he left wensday to come home and he's not answering his cell he should be home by now Joe I'm worried"i said

"Okay don't panic I'll tell the chief"he said about an hour later I was still at the station Joe told Eddie to say with me while the chief sent everyone out too look for Barry I spent the last hour hugging him and crying

Eddie took me back home where iris was waiting they stayed till midnight then went home it was one Joe still wasn't back yet and I sat in a corner of the house behind a chair like I used to when I was little whenever the power went out or a hurricane came through or I was sad or scared or both I would sit there

At two thirty I herd the front door close Joe went halfway up the stairs then walked back down and walked to me I had my knees to my chest and my head buried in them and my arms wrapped around my legs and my cheeks were tear stained

He bent down to my height "hay kido"he said barley smiling "come on let's get you to bed"he said picking me up and taking me to my room "Barry?"i asked "not yet but we're gonna find him"he said but he wasn't smiling then I fell asleep
