"Hey Joe?"i asked standing infront of him reading his news paper at the table "yeah"he said "would it be okay if I went on a date Friday "i asked then bit my lip when he looked up at me
"Sure"he said Smiling "really?"i asked "who with"he asked "Miles he's apparently wanted to ask me out since 2rd grade"I said "that geeky kid with glasses isn't he like captain of the chess club"he asked
"Yeah"i said sighing like I thought he was dreamy which I do then barry ran downstairs blowing Joes Newspaper all over the place and my hair out of my face I looked over and he was drinking coffee "morning"I said walking to the stove and poring a cup of hot coco
I took a sip then set it down and sat on the counter then took another sip "hey Bar guess who has a date on Friday "Joe said looking at me "what?"he asked smiling "when were you gonna tell me"he asked "I was planning on never"i told him "what why"he asked smiling
"Because last time I went on a date you guys scared him off"i said "excuse me for trying to ask questions"he said taking a sip of coffee "you asked him when the last Time he had sex was!"i said "I wanted to make sure the answer was never!"he said "he was fourteen!"I said "still he could have had rabies"he said I rolled my eyes
"Who's she going out with now"he asked "Miles Miller"Joe said "that geeky kid who's had a crush on you for forever"he asked "yes"i said he laughed "so he finally asked you out"he said "Not exactly"i said "I asked him"i said "awww"barry said i rolled my eyes and sighed annoyed "shut up"i said he laughed

"Barry's 25 not 15"he said "wha-"I said then Bar came over and hugged me "see you in a few days"he said I looked at Joe confused and he shrugged
I looked at barry and hugged back when he let go I looked at him weirdly "Starling is a dangerous city"he said defending himself "mmhm"i said smiling he rolled his eyes and left
