"In truth a family is what you make it. It is made strong, not by the number of heads counted at the dinner table, but by the rituals you help family members create, by the memories you share, by the commitment of time, caring, and love.

-Marge Kennedy

"How many family members of mine do you plan to bring back?" Klaus asked as he leaned next to me against the railing of the stairs.

A few days ago we had managed to revive Kol, who was at the moment, surrounded by the rest of the family, including Josh and Davina. It had not been difficult to bring him back, four witches working together really amped up your power.

I suppose that was why witches tended to have covens. Bringing him back was the easy part, having a paranoid Kol on our hands was another story.

Not only was he upset about being killed, confused and starving, he was also distrustful about the reason we brought him back. It had taken the last few days for him to finally start to relax, although I had a feeling he was still weary. I had no idea if he was under the influence of his mother at the moment. So I also had reason to be suspicious with him.

"Oh, not many. Perhaps one more." I told him. I was on the fence with bringing back Finn. There was no doubt he would be under his mothers thumb, and if we bring him back how will we get him on our side without any doubt? Although since we have Freya, she could possibly convince him to stop trying to kill his family at every turn.

Klaus twisted toward me, his face serious, "No. No more, Hayley. Bringing Kol back is a risk that I am not sure you should have taken."

"Oh please. Kol is like a puppy, show him enough love and he'll follow you around. Everything will be fine, if you can treat your siblings like actual people and not dolls you can manipulate." I told him with a roll of my eyes.

Klaus scoffed turning his attention to Cami walking toward us.

"What is Cami doing here?" I asked.

"She happens to be my therapist." He said smugly.

Now it was my turn to scoff, "Seriously? Honestly about time you seeked therapy. "

I didn't know that Klaus was still using Cami, I never actually saw her till now. I should have expected it, honestly.

As she came over to us, I smiled, giving her a little wave, which she returned.

"Cami, it is so nice meet you somepleace outside a bar." I told her while we shook hands.

"So you're the Hayley I keep hearing about." She sent a sly look toward Klaus.

I always forget how much I enjoyed her on the show. Never afraid to speak her mind, and rarely showing her fear to those bigger and badder around her.

She is definitely someone I can see myself being friends with.

"Alright, that's enough. Come along, love." Klaus gripped lead Cami away quickly, sending a glare my way, like it was my fault she said what she did.

Chuckling to myself I turned back to watch over the others. They seemed content. Rebekah showing Kol how to use a phone, Josh painted Davina nails, Elijah was pretending to read from a book, yet I noticed him glancing up at me every so often.

Davina looked in the direction Elijah kept glaring up at, noticing me standing here. She smiled waving at me for join them. I shook my head at her, pointing behind me toward my room. I desperately needed a nap.
