Helen Keller once said, "Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much." The act of helping someone is natural. Its embedded into our DNA. Something every human shares. Though how you help someone is different. Either by being tough, or nurturing. By holding their hand along the way, or simply watching from the sidelines. Its important to have a strong support system, for the more support you have, the less likely you are to crumble. I had forgotten what that was like; till now.

I told Davina about Timothy, how he would die if she ran away, so Davina made the decision to stay put.

But of course Davina would never go silently. Davina and I decided to make Marcel, Klaus, and Elijah miserable for the time being.

We were in my room making plans for revenge, when Rebekah suddenly stormed in. "What are you planning Hayley? You are never quiet for this long."

I faked offense, placing a hand over my heart. "I have no idea what you are talking about." Rebekah only rolled her eyes and shut the door before her way over to the bed.

"Well, whatever it is you guys are planning, I suspect it has something to do with my brothers, so I want in." She said while perching on the edge of the bed.

Davina raised a brow, "Why?" Rebekah looked Davina over her head nodding in approval of her dress. "Us girls have got to stick together, plus I'm bored."

With Josh on speaker phone, together we had come up with a wonderfully crafted four-part revenge plan. Part one was Davina's idea. She made it so that three of them could not step into the sunlight without being burned, even with their daylight rings.

We had sat in the courtyard, enjoying peanut butter ice cream and exchanging gossip, while laughing at the threats from Klaus, and the pleas from Marcel and Elijah.

It was the highlight of our day. Until the sun went down that is. We retreated to Davina's room, in order to escape the threats from Klaus. The same night Davina did part two of her plan.

She hexed them so that whenever they would feed on blood, it would turn to vervain instead.

It was extremely amusing when we heard yelling and choking sounds coming from down the hall. We had smirks on our faces, pleased with Davina's plan.

Those smirks were wiped right off when Rebekah sped into Davina's room and grabbed our hands, yanking them into a run down the hallway.

Klaus had chased us through the whole compound yelling at us while Marcel and Elijah chased after him trying to calm him down.

Glancing over my shoulder, I could not help except laugh when I saw choked up blood on his face and clothes. Soon all three of us were laughing at his expense.

Once Elijah and Marcel discovered that they too could not feed, they were once again being chased around the compound. After an intense scolding from Elijah, Davina reversed the hex and we returned to Rebekah's room to call Josh; fill him in on the day.

After changing into comfy pajamas, we all curled up in the bed and watched whatever chick flicks that Davina had picked out, later falling asleep, cuddled up with mounds of blankets.

The next day Davina hexed them once again, only this time there would be endless rocks in their shoes, idea provided by Josh.

I avoided the glares sent my way whenever I ran into Klaus. Putting on an innocent face that only made him more irritated with me. He solved his problem by not wearing any shoes for the rest of the day, which had Rebekah taking countless pictures.

Davina had been ignoring Marcel whenever he tried to talk with her, wincing each time he stepped. Elijah had simply sat down in one of the plush chairs with a book and refused to move.
