"Happy birthday!"
The birthday party for Seokmin and Vernon had officially began after their friends popped the party poppers. After that, they somewhat split up into groups of two, the guys who have the app and their love interests all together.
Vernon was just staring at Seungkwan the whole time. He would occasionally look and talk with the guys beside him but immediately turns his gaze towards the round cheeked boy. Seungkwan noticed him staring and sent him a glare, in which Vernon replied with his middle finger up. Seungkwan rolled his eyes at that guesture before turning away.
"You and Seungkwan sure do get along well, huh?" Mingyu leaned in a bit closer to talk to the younger.
Vernon just let a small chuckle at that statement, "I guess we do.. I mean, I do like teasing him and he hates it but it's fun seeing his reactions" He chugged down the drink in his cup before turning to Mingyu. "There's Wonwoo, why don't you talk to him?"
"Uh. No."
"Pussy"
"You're one to talk, asshole"
"By the way.." Chan suddenly interrupted their small fight, "Guys, why is all your love interests over there? Even Jeonghan"
Soonyoung responded with a shrug, "Jeonghan is Vernon's friend and he seems to be getting along well with the others"
"Smart observation, genius"
"Thanks"
Chan looked at his phone, "Cupid's not saying anything.." The others had also started to check their own phones but all of them got the same result.
"Weird.. Shouldn't Cupid say something about this by now? That... I don't even know if he's a bot at this point, he's just so mysterious.. Is he even a he?" Joshua started rambling on.
"Calm down, guys. It's a good thing that Cupid isn't saying something. What would you guys do if Cupid sent us something like 'Make out with him'?" Seungcheol tried calming his friends but that made them overthink more.
"Oh god, why did you give him ideas?"
Soonyoung lightly slapped the armrest of the couch he was sitting at, "Alright. I don't want to think about this so I will just get some more drinks!" He stood up and headed to the table to get himself more drinks.
"Let's just not think about that app for today.. We're here to have fun! It's Vernon's birthday after all.. Oh, right. Vernon, why don't you open our gifts?"
Vernon seemed to like that idea, "Sure, why not?" He went to get his gifts from his side. He and Seokmin decided to seperate since they don't want their gifts to be mixed up.
As soon as he got the gifts, he went back and started opening it up. To his surprise, every one of the gifts he received were all baby stuff.
He looked at the gifts then at his friends, "Very funny guys!" He complained as he held the baby onesie up. "Awh, this is cute.. but what the fuck?! I'm not a father? What am I gonna use these for?"
