Joshua had finally arrived at the spot where he and Seokmin decided to meet up. He expected Siyeon would be there with him but to his surprise, it was just Seokmin.

He decided to walk over, waving at him to get his attention. "Seok!" He called out, making the younger male whip his head to his direction.

"Hyung!" Seokmin greeted back before running up closer to Joshua. "Noona actually wants to come too but somehow there was a problem at work so she had to attend"

Joshua shook his head, "That's a bummer.." He didn't really mind since he gets an alone time with Seokmin but of course, she was still his bestfriend so he had to express his disappointment to her brother. "Anyways, let's go?"

"Yeah! Sure"

Seokmin and Joshua then headed inside the mall to shop for a present. Since Seokmin doesn't really know Vernon that much, he decided to ask Joshua for things that Vernon may like. Unfortunately for him, Joshua also doesn't know Vernon that much other than his obsession with Seungkwan.

They took hours to find the perfect present for Vernon, going around the mall trying to find a present that he would actually like.

In the end, they ended up calling Seungkwan to ask him about his opinion.

"Huh?? Why are you asking me?"

"Uh, because you know him more than we do?"

"Buy him anything geeky or just lame, he likes those or.. Shoes, definitely. He loves shoes"

"Shoes.. Right, thanks, Kwan!"

"Next time, just ask him yourself!" Seungkwan then hunged the phone up.

Seokmin couldn't help but chuckle at the younger's last statement. He then put his phone back to his pocket. "Hyung" He called out to Joshua. "Let's go?"

"Sure" Joshua smiled gently and started walking with Seokmin.

They walked in silence, both not even bothering to say anything to each other, mostly because Joshua was busy figuring out how he could ask Seokmin what he wanted to get for his birthday.

"So, Seokmin, what are you up to lately?" He decided to ask, he thought it sounded a bit weird but that was the best he could think of.

Seokmin, luckily, didn't think much of it, "Well, I'm actually not doing a lot, to be honest. You know, the usual" He let out a sigh. "I'm trying to learn guitar though"

"Oh? How's that going for you?"

"Pretty nice actually. Hey, hyung! You can play the guitar, right? Noona told me. If it's not bothering you, can you teach me?"

Joshua didn't know what he did yesterday that made him very lucky today, but he sure is thankful to his past self. "Sure, I can teach you guitar. I'm not that busy anyways" He is busy but who cares about his work when he has Seokmin.

"Thanks, hyung!" That bright smile of Seokmin almost made Joshua blind, luckily it didn't.

They finally got to the shoe store to buy gifts for Vernon. They looked around the store and just realized that they don't know Vernon's shoe size. Seokmin decided to ask Seungkwan again for it while Joshua didn't bother. He grabbed a pair of Star Wars themed baby shoes somewhere and thought that it would be hella funny to see his reaction.

While Seokmin was distracted, Joshua decided it was time for him to buy a gift for Seokmin. And so, he went to the shop that sells music instruments and bought a guitar.

He came back where he first left Seokmin. He was still picking out shoes as a gift for Vernon.

"Sorry, I left. Did you pick anything yet?" Joshua asked as he looked at the shoes Seokmin was choosing from.

"It's fine! Oh, right, what did you get for him though?"

Joshua giggled and showed him the baby shoes he picked out for Vernon. "These"

"Aww.. Wait, why baby shoes?"

"He's a father"

"What? Really? Oh, maybe I should get one for him too. I didn't know he has a girlfriend"

"No, no, I'm joking.. I'm just getting these as a prank"

"Oh!" Seokmin giggled, "What if I buy him baby toys too as a prank?"

"Oh my god, do it."
