Mingyu went to school normally and unbothered as if nothing happened yesterday. He was a bit relieved that he hasn't gotten his first mission, a part of him was scared while the other part was actually looking forward to it.
He was currently in front of his locker, putting all his stuff inside and leaving out those who are needed for the classes that day. He would usually have a few girls either watching him from a far or approach him, but in his surprise there was none.
As Mingyu proceeds to close the locker, he couldn't help but stare at the only other student with him, who was having trouble with their locker.
That student is Wonwoo, Mingyu's crush for a long time now, he wanted to help him with his locker but he was scared that he would just annoy Wonwoo.
Suddenly, his phone received a message from Cupid himself, telling him about his first ever mission
𝙼𝚒𝚜𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗! : 𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚔 𝚝𝚘 𝚑𝚒𝚖 <Mission! : Talk to him!>
Mingyu looked at his phone then at Wonwoo, he took a deep breath before walking up to him.
"Hey! Uh.. I noticed you're having trouble with your locker, is there any way I can help?" He offered, trying to hide the fact that he's nervous.
Wonwoo stopped whatever he was doing and faced Mingyu, "Well, I accidentally left my locker keys inside and I was about to get it when it got stuck, I can't pull it open"
"Oh! If it's just pulling it open, I can do that" Mingyu grabbed the locker handle and pulled it, he didn't know why but it opened easily as if it wasn't jammed at all. "There!"
"Thank you, I'll make sure to repay you.. What's your name?"

"Hey, Jun"
"Ah, Minghao! Hey! Do you wanna sit together?"
"Sure, I have no one else to sit with anyways"
Junhui pulled up the seat beside his for Minghao to sit during class. The younger sat down and started preparing his things while Junhui just stares at him.
"What? Is there something on my face?" Minghao asked when he noticed the older staring at him.
Junhui shook his head, "Nah, it's nothing, don't mind me" He smiled. He pulled out his phone to text his friends since he didn't want to make Minghao uncomfortable by staring at him for too long.
As he was about to tap the groupchat, a message popped out from Cupid saying:

"What?" Junhui unintentionally said out loud.
"Are you okay?"
Junhui responded with a nod, he awkwardly laughed as he scratched the back of his head, "Sorry, I was just looking at something"
Minghao was still confused but he looked like he didn't want to ask anymore questions, "If you say so.."
The older stared at his phone for awhile. 'I can do this' He thought to himself, sure, he was scared of rejection but then again, the mission only said to invite him, he didn't have to agree.
"Hey, if you're not busy later, would you like to get some coffee? I mean if you don't want to then-"
