An Untold Story

While watching from the top deck leaning on the rail Izzy stays quiet, trying to ignore the pulsing coming from the newly forming black eye. "Common now Black Beard doesn't like his vessel covered in muck!" he shouts looking down at the crew staring up at him. "Do you think the boss is being a bit hard on him?.. I get that he's his first mate but.. he's got bruises" says Fang looking up at Izzy and then back at Ivan moving something out of the way to clean up. Ivan shrugs "It's none of our business.. besides if we get caught talking about it who knows what he'll do to us" Fang nods. 

"I knew that the crew saw the bruises.. I didn't try to hide them.. I just tried to ignore them.." Stede stares at him with a small nod "Did.. anyone try and ask you about it? Or did they just see it as.. normal" he says somber, not liking that word for such a topic. Izzy sighs "They tried a few but.. we try and forget about those times.. especially today since Ed seems to have erased that from his memory, there'd be no point in bringing it up around him" Stede nods looking down at the floor as he continues.

"Hey uhm boss" turning around he looks at Ivan with a glare saying already irritated "What, shouldn't you be working?" he nods "I just wanted to ask you about.. something" staring at him Izzy knows good and well what he wants to talk about. Brushing it off quickly "Look, it's none of your business I don't need you pestering me about it now get back to work!" he shouts hearing his name being called, leaving into the cabin. Walking in he stands staring at him as he looks out the window, clearing his throat "Y-You wanted to see me sir?" he nods "We need to talk.." his hear sinks as he turns around walking to his desk.

Stopping the story Izzy feels his heart race like it did in that moment, rubbing his hands together "This... this moment I wasn't expecting it.. I thought it was like previous times.. thought he was going to hit me or force me to do things etc. but this.. this time it was different.. I didn't know how to react..I froze as the words came out of his mouth" Stede looks at him intrigued but concered.

"Sit.. don't worry I'm not going to do anything" nodding he sits keeping his eyes on him confused as he stays quiet. As he sits behind his desk he sighs "Izzy.. I wasn't expecting things to lead to where they're.. I knew where they were heading physically but not emotionally.." looking at him his eyes widen feeling his heart race once more, a small smile appearing on his face. "In short.. I've.. caught feelings for you somehow.. and I wanted to know.. if-" Izzy blurts out "I feel the same" looking at him caught off guard "What?" Izzy clears his throat "I-I feel the same.. sir" he says calmer.  Seeing him smile Izzy smiles back "I think you know where this goes from here.." Izzy nods standing up and walking around the desk standing in front of him, feeling him take his hands kissing the tops of them gently.

"We never really said whether we were dating or not.. we didn't need too.. we just knew there was something" he smiles a bit flustering. "Though.. in my mind.. I considered it dating, he was my boyfriend.. he was my lover.. even if he had hit me and raped me many times before.. I loved him" he sighs wiping some tears from his eyes. "Our 'relationship' went on for so many years after.. though.. even if they were 'in a relationship' he still had flings, making it known to me that I was nothing special.. just a constant fling of his. Eventually I became cold and biter to it all.. Every time I got hit or forced to do things I didn't feel anything.. I felt numb.. everything of my old identity was gone and I was nothing more than his pet..I was no longer Israel but I was Izzy.. the nickname he gave me.. that I was forced to go by" he takes a breath getting worked up continuing with a quiver in his voice. "I convinced myself that this is what my life is now, because he was right.. I coudln't go back now.. I was his.. forever.."
