Chapter 3: Ross and Snake

Hello again, I am just kinda adicted to this story so I hope people wil able to survie me writing on this for a while. But for those of you who want the next chapter of Dragon of Rias, I promise I wil release something soon, so don't worry. And also thanks to RageRevan, for reminding to give more background info to Issei's character and goals, and also why Rias seems to be hidding more than just Issei from her peerage. hope you'll enjoy, and let's get into it.

Rias was sitting on the left couch, Issei sitting on ground infront of her, his head held low much like a trained dog would. There is one thing people who admire and look up to Rias don't know, and that is she couldn't care if they did, she only cared about herself and her "friends". Even Issei in some ways, but mostly because he had more or less thrown himself at her, giving her anything she wanted for just the smallest amount of love." So Issei, what happened while me and Sona was gone?" Rias asked in a stoic voice, quite unlike the one she would use with her friends and classemates.

Issei kept looking down as he thought how he should answer this, he wanted to asked how long he had been locked away since it seemed like the White Dragon Emperor was back or maybe even stil around. Before he could keep thinking if he should ask, he was jank by his neck to look up at Rias's face, where he met a pair piercing grimson red eyes looking at him." I wanted to talk with them, but none of them wanted to talk to me, so I went on to reveal most of their species and former factions. I even told what sacred gear Sona's pawn had." Issei answered back, his voice not as cocky, but still the same pride.

Rias mused on this for a bit, thinking about something, then she began talking again." What was his sacred gear then?" She asked, Issei hestited a bit, then answered." A dragon one." Simple and easy, which was easier for Issei, but not what Rias wanted to hear." Which dragon? Is it one you know, oh anicent lizard of mine?" She used a scarcastic voice, but it was true though as Issei was old, much older then her. He sighed, as he didn't really want to answer her qusetion, but knew he would give in at some point or she would would just ask Sona or Saji.

" He has the Absorpotion Line, and has a fragment of Vitra's soul inside of him." Issei answered back, his eyes becoming slits at the mention of Vitra's name. Rias just giggle a bit at his reaction to the name, something she found to be cute." Oh really? Isn't that interseting to think that we have two dragons in this territory, and they both happen to have history. It almost seems like fate, dons't it?" She asked with a bit of playfulness to her voice, something Issei didn't really agree with as could be seen by his less human or more dragonic looking eyes.

" I don't think so, Rias." He answered with a cold and threating tone, making Rias regain her former calm and relaxed expresence." Right, I sometimes forget. You still hate him that much? And here I thought you dragons were above such things." She wouldn't admitted to him, but she loved to tease him with that." Yeah, right. Anyways I have qusetion I would like you to answer, if you care enough to listen that is." Issei shrugged it off mostly, still though his eyes held a bit of anger, but his voice was much calmer then before." Of course was is it, my dear Issei?" She asked in that sickingly sweet tone, which Issei bothed hate and couldn't help himself for falling for.

" I want to know who the current White Dragon Emperor is. Those queens of yours dared to say I lied about killing that bitch, saying they saw her or someone in full white scale mail when you were fighting kokebrial." Issei asked, making Rias have a slightly shocked face, then it turned into confusion." I don't know myself, but I think it's because I havn't let you out of your cage since I asked you to kill those fallen angels roaming in my territory." She answered, a hand under her chin as her face held curious look to it.

" I see, so how long has it been since I killed the last one? I would like to know how long I have been gone this time." Issei asked, as he needed to know how much time had passed since he was "let out", in other words, let out to take of something for Rias." Hm, well I put you away for 10 years or so this time, I only really brought you out as I was ordered to by Sirzechs." Rias explained, making Issei sigh at how long it had been this time. A think people have to remember is that, time in the underworld works different compared to the one in the human world. In human years most of the redsidense of the underworld would be many thousands years old, while in their own world they would at most be hundreds of years old, thanks to how long one single day takes.
