Chapter 13: Last Test

Hello, this is the last chapter I will be releasing for a long, hopefully just short, whille as I will begin at collage. So I hope you will all enjoy this chapter, that I have writen to show of my lack of battle sence writting, and plot forwarding ideas. Don't worry, we will be leaving the trainging arc as of this chapter, so next time it's time for a party and a party crash. Enjoy!

( Underworld, Gremory Territory)

" FIRE!" Yelled Sona as many different ice, fire and wind magics were thrown at the now gigantic sized snake, that was Issei's true form. They had been fighting for little less than two minutes, and Issei had still yet to attack since he flew towards them and destroyed an old pre-devil-civil war tower. The attacks all hit him, but it didn't do jack shit as Issei scales this was much tougher this time.

The many attacks had though maybe not damaged him, but had made a cloud of smoke around him, letting the two devil peerages to prepare an attack with all of their knights and rooks. A plan made by using Rias's brute force tactics and Sona's more detailed planning abilities. In a swift motion Kiba, Xenovia, Koneko, Meguri, Yura and Saji all launched towards Issei at the fastest speeds they could.

Kiba and Xenovia held their swords towards each other, as they prepared for a combined slash attack, with Koneko cocking back her fist to hit the hopefully wounded area. The two both slashed with all the strength they had, but it left a dent in his scales, and Koneko could only make said dent a millimeter deeper, making it at most two millimeters deep. Saji, Yura and Meguri tried something similar, but with Saji as the big hitter instead of Yura.

A heavy overhead slash from Meguri with her Samurai sword, which left a deeper dent than the other group had made. Yura then used as much of her strength as she could in left arm, and made the dent become an almost tiny hole. Saji felt this was it and powered up as much power as he could, before sending his fist flying towards the target. He felt it contect, and it felt strong. Really strong. He could the scale giving in, and making him feel a bit of the soft skin underneath it.

When the two different attacks had been done, the cloud of smoke was still up. The two groups landed next to their own kings, but the mood on their faces was all different. The Orc group was a little sadnet that they couldn't even inflict a real wound on Issei, while the Sitri group was cheering that they hit through his armor. Even more so was Saji as he yelled out." I finally got him! I fucking wounded Issei Hijöshiki!" He yelled out, his pride obvise and justified, as this was a big thing for these two peerages.

Unfortunately for the pre-teens, their joy and pride over this small succes, was short lived. Out of the smoke cloud came Issei's full head, with his mouth open wide and ready to swallow them up. They all managed to dodge out of the way, but not without some eye to eye contact with his giant slitted eyes. He bit down on a small hill of stones, then turned around towards the Orc and slithering towards them, spitting medium sized rocks at them as he went.

Luckily Akeno, Rias and Asia could easily fly out of the way, but Gasper, Kiba, Xenovia and Koneko weren't so lucky and had to run or else they would be hit by the flying rocks. Sona and her peerage tried to help by firing magic at Issei, but it did no more than make more clouds of smoke and dust. It also made them not see the end of his giant tail swipe towards them, sending them all flying into the ruins of the old tower.

" Damn it, why is he so tough?! I thought for sure we would have been able to hinter him a bit with that attack.." Akeno said as and the others looked over the chaos that was this test battlefield, with Issei covering at least a fourth of it." I don't know, but it seems his scales are much tougher than when Sona fought him last time." Rias said, before aiming her arms at Issei and began to charge a ball of destruction towards him.
