Ash's pov I wake up, seeing Serena laying in my arms. ?????? How did we end up like this? "Serena wake up" I say patting her shoulder. She just mumbled something. "Anyways I'm going to shower" "Mmkay.." she says, half sleeping I look next to me and realize that pikachu weren't sleeping next to me. I wonder where he is? I look around once again and find pikachu laying next to Serena, doesn't seem that he is kicking her. Weird.
I get in the shower and turn on the water. After the shower, I get out and take on my clothes. I walk outside and see Pikachu in Serena's arms, still sleeping. Wow they must have been tired.
Pikachu's dreams Mhm this is comfy, could get used to laying here for ever. Yep, Serena is definitely wifey material for Ash mhm.... By the way, where is my ketchup? I start to run after the flying ketchup. STOP RUNNING KETCHUP YOU'RE MINE
Serena's pov I wake up by some kind of.. uh crash? I look around and see pikachu on the floor right next to me, pikachu certainly has some kind of problem right now. Anyways, I wonder how he ended up here? Didn't I put him on the small couch yesterday? Whatever
"So you're finally awake" Ash says His hair was still wet, so guess he showered. "Did pikachu sleep on the floor the whole night?" I say looking at pikachu who laying on the floor and he is hugging.. air? "No, he slept next to you, didn't you notice?" He responds "No I put him on the couch" "Guess he walked over to you and just fell asleep or something then" Ash shrugs I get ready and then we walk outside of the center. "What do we do now?" Ash says then his stomach starts to make some noises. "Uh oops?" He says Typical Ash "Let's go and eat some breakfast then" I say "Hmm, over there, I smell something yummy there. Let's go Serena!" He takes my hand and starts running towards a little café, it did actually smell very nice. We walk in and order some food.
??? No way! Is that Ash and Serena, knew that they would together sometime! "Hey Ash! Serena!" I shout walking towards them "Huh?" Serena says turning around "Miette!?" Serena says with a surprised tone "That's me" "Miette! What a surprise to see you here!" Ash say "What are you two doing here?" "Breakfast" Serena answers short "Well isn't it nice to see you two together, are you a couple?" I whisper to Serena She begins to blush and answers "n-no, just friends!" "Yeah sure, the news say otherwise" I say, with a smirk on my face "Hmm? What are you guys talking about?" Ash says confused "It's nothing, by the way Ash, have you heard the news?" "uhhhh... no?" "Well, the news say that you and Serena are a couple, and also that you uhh.. did something else" "It was all Calem's fault." Ash say "Who's Calem?"
Ash's pov Uh oh, how do we get out of this now? We need to get rid of this rumor, quick. "Well umm... Me and Serena were just camping in a random forest and then in the middle of the night, a guy named Calem comes to us and tells us that his father owns that forest. ALSO we weren't sleeping together, he just took a photo and probably edited us, making it look like we were sleeping together. We had our own sleeping bag."
"Yep, also in that video, I was just sitting next to ash waking him up" Serena adds "Well.. if you say so, Calem seems to be a very good editor in that case, it really looks real" Miette says "Excuse us" I drag away Serena by her arm to the corner of the Cafe. "Okay, so we both know that we need to get rid of this weird rumor, right?" "Mhm" she nods "So we'll just tell everyone he photoshopped us to get rid of the rumor, okay?" "Sure.." she says "It's for the best, right?" I ask her "For the best" she replies
Serena's pov We walk back to Miette and see that we have gotten our food. "PANCAKES!!!!!" Ash shouts as fast as he sees the pancakes he ordered I smile at his behavior, Ash is never going to change, isn't he? We start eating our food "By the way ash, have you heard that there's goin to be a small tournament here?" Miette says, looking at Ash "I'm definitely going to participate in that, how do i sign myself in?" Ash says "Easy, you just sign in yourself at the Pokémon center" Miette says "Alright! We're going there right now!" Ash say as he jumps up from his chair "But I haven't finished..." "Hurry then" he says
I eat up my waffles as fast as i can. There's No need to stress me like that. "Wait! I forgot to mention one thing!" Miette shouts "What?" I say "The tournament are double battles so you're going to need a partner Ash" Miette say "Hmmmm then who should be my partner? Maybe you could be my partner Serena?" Ash say, looking at me "You know I'm not good at battling" "It's okay I'll help you, everything's going to be alright" ash smiles "If you say so.." "Great! Then let's go!" He says starting to run away "Bye miette!" We both shouts as we run away
Ash's pov We arrive at the Pokémon center and sign us into the tournament. "By the way nurse joy, when does the tournament start?" "Today at 12am" Joy smiled as she walked away "Indeedee!!" Huh where did that come from. I turn around and see a Indeedee run towards Nurse Joy "What is it?" Joy says as she pat Indeedee's head "Indeedee!" She points to a room with a window behind Nurse Joy's counter "The egg?!" Joy looks behind her and gets a serious mien "Is something wrong?" Serena says worryingly because of Joy's facial expression. "We got an egg a few days ago, and it seems something is happening to it.." "Well, no time to waste then, let's go!" I say as we all starts running towards the room Just as we walk inside the room we see a beautiful egg, it was a very light green egg with light pink flowers on it. The egg starts moving and we all look at it, fascinated by the movements. Soon we'll see what kind of Pokémon you are this is an very special moment, seeing an egg hatching is very rare, and only a few have seen an egg hatch.
Serena's pov The egg starts to crack, very slow but you could see something moving inside. Th egg kept on moving and it all seemed to go well. "Why is it not moving..?" I ask Joy looks at me and just smile "It's normal, some Pokémon just take some time, or they might be a little shy to get out of the shell." "oh okay" Then a head pops out of the egg and the egg disappear, leaving a Pokémon behind. "Indeedee, get the things" Indeedee nods and walks away "What's wrong?" Ash and I say "This is not very serious, we just need to get a few things checked, Petilil are usually bigger than this so we just need to check if everything is alright" Oh, so it is a petilil

We sit down and wait for about 10 minutes until Nurse joy came out and said "everything's done, you can come in now if you want" We walk into the room. Petilil was sleeping peacefully I don't know why but I feel like I'm supposed to take care of this Pokémon, I can see great talent in those small eyes.
I walk next to petilil and sit next to it She slowly wakes up and starts to shiver "Is this normal?" "Not really sure.. maybe petilil's just cold" I move closer to petilil and put my hand on her Hope this is better Petilil stops to shiver and seems.. safe She opens her eyes and look at me "Peti...?" Petilil jumps up into my lap and lays there "It seems that Petilil likes you. If you want, Serena, you could bring it with you" Nurse joy says "Really!" I say "Of course!" Joy says "Awesome Serena!" Ash smile towards me and I start to blush, I need to stop doing this. "petilil, do you want to come with me?" I say looking at the small Petilil "Petilil!" Petilil starts to jump up and down, I could see some happiness in her eyes "guess that means you want to"
I take a pokeball and put it gently on petilil's head "You and I are going to grow strong together" I whisper to the pokeball
