Sword Tournament

Ash's pov
We walk outside and Walk to a nearby bench which was right outside of the Pokémon center.
Suddenly I felt something. My legs started to shake, shortly after I collapsed down to the ground.

It can't.. I don't want to... please stop...
I'm tired..

"Ash?!"
"...oh what?"
"Are you okay?" Serena looks worryingly in my eyes.
"I don't know.. I had this kind of.. voice in my head.. I don't really know what it was.."
Serena reach out for my hand and helps me up from the ground.
"Don't worry Ash, it's going to be alright" she gives me a faint smile
"You're probably right" I smile back at her

"So Serena, the Pokémon tournament is in like a few hours, right?"
"Yeah" She says while nodding
""What about some special training before?"
"I guess that would help..."
"Then come on!" I grab her hand and start running to the battlefield next to the Pokémon center.

"How many Pokémon are we going to use each in the tournament?" Serena says
"Four i think"
"That might be a problem..."
"But you have 5 Pokémon, right?"
Serena looks at me, with a little bit of shame in her eyes "well... I released Clamperl a few days ago..."
"What?! When??"
"You know that time you were battling the owner of the battle Cafe?"  Serena looks down while scratching her head
"Clamperl got out of its pokeball and stared at the beach nearby. It looked like it wanted to go there, live around freely, so I ran away to the beach. And you could see that Clamperl wanted to be there. So I asked clamperl if it wanted to stay there, in the ocean she nodded, and then she left"

"Oh I see.. well how about we use petilil?"
"I don't know.. she just got out of her egg... I'm not so sure that she's ready for that..." Serena and I look at each other, thinking about what we should do
"Well.. then let's train her then! Maybe petilil is super strong!"
"Okay!"
Serena takes out petilil from her pokeball
"Alright pikachu, take it easy, petilil is still newly hatched, so don't go too hard but don't make it too easy"
We train and train, petilil was actually pretty good!

-a few hours later-

Serena takes a look at the clock and screams "ASH!!!!"
"What?"
"The tournament starts in 15 minutes!"
WHAT, ALREADY?!!! My head is screaming right now, how did we forget the time?
We quickly run into the center and heal our Pokémon fast then we run into the stadium, luckily the stadium was pretty close

Serena's pov
Phew  we made it
We enter the stadium, there was a huge crowd and a lot of trainers, there's going to be tough competition. Atleast I got Ash
I could feel people watching me and ash as they where presenting our names, I could hear whispering too

"Relax Serena, it's going to be just fine" ash smiles at me
There was a few cameras  and reporters around too.
"Welcome to the sword tournament! One of the biggest girl and boy duo  tournament in the world!"
Oh I didn't even know this was only for boy, girl duos.

They put up the order on the big screen, me and ash where going to be in the fifteenth battle.
We walk to the seat platforms and take a seat next to some teenagers

"Oh wow, didn't think you would show up with each other after our 'coincidence'"
huh?
I turn my head and see...
CALEM?????!!!!
"What are you doing here?" Ash says coldly. Guess he's still angry
"You guys know that people are going crazy about how cute you two are together right?" Calem smirks at us
"By the way Princess, it's a shame that you're taken by him, you're lucky Ash"
What the?
"get away from us."
"Not yet, I didn't answer your boyfriends question"  Calem says.
"Then answer and leave!" Ash's starting to loose it.. Calem need to leave right now
"Well I'm just here to battle along with my friend" Calem says calmly
"Leave" I point my finger, gesturing him to leave
