Serena's pov
Rita and Phil left us after they asked us a bunch of questions, we'll mostly to me since ash were busy with eating his food.
"Serena! This is so good!!!!" Ash say as he shoves In even more food
I just laugh back. Ash can really be childish sometimes
We eat up our food and hurry back to the stadium

"Wow, we got here just in time" I say looking up to the big screen, it was the sixth battle and we were battling in the seventh
"So what Pokémon are you going to use now?"
"If I tell you then it won't be a surprise" ash say with a smirk
I just roll my eyes and start to walk towards the battlefield since it was our turn now

"Next up! Ash and Serena against Hop and Gloria! In this battle, you'll be able to use 2 pokemon each! Trainers take out your Pokémon!"  The referee say

The other two take out a hisuian avalugg and a Dubwool
I throw my pokeball at the same time as ash does it.
"Do your best now pancham!" I shout and he nodded back
"Infernape!"
"Ash.... Why do you have so many starter Pokémons?"
"Honestly, I don't know, but they're really good"
"Okay"
"Trainers! Start battling"

"Pancham! Use dark pulse!"
"Infernape! Use Fire spin!"
We both hit one Pokémon each
The trainer I assume is hop orders his dubwool to use Double edge, that attack caused pancham flying back
"Are you okay pancham" pancham nodded back as an answer
"Dubwool's weak now hit it with Dig!"
"Serena!" Ash looks at me and nod
"Pancham use Arm thrust!" Dubwool fainted!
Hop had a corviknight!
This isn't going to be easy

After a few minutes of fighting, Pancham fainted
So I sent out Petilil, this might be very risky. But whatever.

After another minutes, Avalugg faints aswell, and Gloria sends out an Eldegoss

"Corviknight! Use Steel wing!" Hop ordered his Pokémon, as Corviknight were preparing for the attack, Ash told me to attack back "remember, attack is the best defense!" He says
I nod and orders Petilil to use leaf storm
Petilil does as I say and attack back into Corviknight's attack.
It's not enough! Corviknight gets closer and closer in small steps
"Ash!" I shout looking for help
He nods and orders his Infernape to attack the Corviknight

Corviknight fainted!
"Oh ash, what would I do without your help" I say looking in relief
"Don't worry, you know I'll always help you" ash smiles back
"Only Eldegoss left" i say and Ash focus goes right back to the battle
"Let's combine our attacks to make it even stronger!" Ash says
I nod back as we both orders our Pokémon to attack. Luckily, Eldegoss fainted!
Yay!

"And our winners are Ash and Serena! They'll move on to the semifinals!" 

The crowd start cheering and I just smile, battling isn't that bad after all!

We walk out to get some fresh air. Wow it has gotten darker since we ate lunch
"You're not so bad at battling after all!" Ash says smiling
"Well, I would be bad if it wasn't for your help" I say
"That's true, I MEAN of course not! You are pretty skilled for a performer!" Ash says stuttering between his words

Me and Ash Makes eye contact and then we burst out laughing
A woman and a man comes running towards us with cameras and everything. Not again

"Hello, sorry to interrupt you two, but can you please confirm that you're a couple, because sometimes the news says that you are a couple and sometimes you're not"
The girl says

I quietly grab Ash's hand, to make our fake relationship more 'believable' "

"Yes we are" we both say
"Thank you very much! By the way, you two are the cutest couple I've ever seen!"
I genuinely smile back and then, the cameraman took down the camera and says "but what about us? I thought we were the cutest couple.."
"The woman just stares at him and starts to laugh, " let's just go back now" she says
"Bye!" She says as the two walk away from us
