As the clouds of smoke cleared slightly to where you could see through it, she noticed something.

!! !! !! !! TWS: VERY VERY GORY DESCRIPTIONS OF BODIES, PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU ARE VERY SENSITIVE TO THIS TOPIC !!  !! !! !!

Selen looked at the bodies, some severed from their skin, bleeding out. Some had their limbs disconnected from their bodies from the impact of the blow, their open wound bleeding out. One body caught her eye. She could tell Phil had tried not to get himself killed. She bent down and grabbed his head by the hair. "Such a shame, Isn't it.." She mumbled. Blood dripped from Phil's head, and out of his mouth. Selen let go of the hair strands and the head made a sudden thud noise. She picked up the katana that was stabbed into the ground. She studied the katana. She had never liked the color green as much as blue and red. Selen noticed that the katana had no signs of it being damaged, even though being in an explosion. Selen looked up at the path, there were more people coming toward her. But she also noticed Ambrose in the herd of people.

As the crowd of people stopped, they noticed one of the bodies was their own leader's body. Ambrose stopped and looked at Phil's body, then back up at Selen. "You- You little bitch." Ambrose gave Selen the death glare. "I didn't mean to! I thought he would survive the blast." Selen slyly smiled. The sun was visible now, and the slight sunlight of golden hour hit the land. They could fully see the dead bodies' details.

Ambrose looked at the katana in Selens hand. "Why do you have his katana? Give it to me." Ambrose demanded Selen. "Why? I mean, it doesn't seem important anyway." She scoffed. "And if you want it, you and your army will have to catch me!" She giggled, and she lept up onto the roofs of old houses and Ambrose followed. Both of them were agile and quick and knew ways to get around trees and rocks. "Why did you kill him?!" Ambrose shouted. "Well, I didn't mean to!" "How can I believe you?! All you do is lie!" "I'm telling the truth!" They went back and forth, and Selen wasn't telling the truth, quite obviously.  They kept chasing each other until they were in the middle of the forest, where the trees were dead, but you couldn't see any daylight at all.

"Have you given up yet?!" Ambrose shouted at Selen. "No, I haven't, believe it or not!" She laughed. "What are you going to do? Kill me? Please! If you tried I would think you would give up!" She kept laughing on and on. Crows flew out of their nests from all of the commotion and loudness. "I will kill you." Ambrose threatened as she withdrew her bow and arrow. That made Selen crack up even more. "Please! I can't breathe!" She kept wheezing and laughing. Ambrose drew back the string on the bow and arrow, and let go, hitting Selen straight in the head. Whatever she did, Selen wouldn't let go of the sword. Selen was coughing up blood at this point, on the brink of death. "Just- give up. You're never going to get this katana." She spat blood on Ambrose's shoe. Ambrose looked down at Selen, who was laying on the ground, almost at death. She withdrew her bow and arrow again, and let go of the string, it landing straight in Selen's chest.

"I will haunt you until the day you die when I come back as a ghost. I swear I will." Where her last words. Ambrose didn't bother getting the katana. The only sympathy she felt for Selen was that she could at least die with the katana in her hand. Ambrose yanked the arrows out of Selens body, leaving holes of wounds that would bleed out visible. Ambrose turned away and started back for the city, as she turned to look at Selen again. She didn't look at her for too long, she only looked at her for a moment, then turned back. When Ambrose got back to the city, she burned all of the arrows, apart from one.

Selen's body sat there for days, weeks, and months, and nobody had noticed her body. slowly decaying. Everything had returned to peace in the city when she didn't come back. The words, "I will haunt you until the day you die when I come back as a ghost." remained inside of Ambrose's head, like darts in a dart-throwing board.
