Selen looked around at the city that Zombie was showing her around, then a question sparked her. "Do you know any of the other high ranking-ghosts?" Selen looked at Zombie, who stopped at the edge of the city, that continued into a dead forest. "Not personally." She sighed and looked around to see if there was anyone else around. Selen was confused why she was paranoid about people being near when she talked. "Where I'm normally near Blue Horned Devastation, I've seen all of them and shared a few words with them, but one of them I haven't ever seen or talked to. I've only heard stories." She looked toward the forest. "Which one have you heard stories of?" Selen looked at her silver eyes with curiosity. "People called her Satan because of the power she held, but her actual name was Eloise, and her ghost name was Silver Phantom. She disappeared from the Ghost Realm and hasn't been seen in at least a hundred years. We all think she was killed by mortals exorcising her." Zombie continued. Selen stopped for a moment. "Eloise? I remember a woman named that. She was a clan and city leader of Mazelle." Selen realized something. "Maybe she did go up to the mortal realm." Zombie slightly laughed in amusement. "Mazelle's past leader died randomly, and nobody ever found out the cause, so it's likely he was assassinated by Eloise." Selen closed her eyes and thought for a moment. "They where headed for Mazelle..." She mumbled, she was referring to Ambrose, and the other two. "Who?" Zombie looked at Selen confused, and tilted her head to the side."Just some people I knew, before I died, again." Selen sighed in sadness. She grabbed the katana that still remained by her hip. She stared at it for a moment. The green accessory on the handle with a bell. The bell had a stain of blood on it from that day he was killed, along with many others. Zombie looked at the katana and studied it. "Someday I want to bring back the people I wronged myself." Selen said as she held the katana in her hands and exhaled. "It is true, I didn't really mean to kill him. After all, he was the man who 'saved' me from whatever hell I was living in before. I feel like the life I lived after he took me in was even more hell than what I was already experiencing. People left and right saying I'm some mistake, and an embarrassment to the bloodline of the man I killed. I don't know how his goddess looking wife didn't step in, she might as well be dead by now like him. The only remains of their family is Ambrose." Selen exhaled and put the katana back by her waist. Selen wanted to go back and be near the people she cared about and loved, but she truly believed now that she was the cause of everything bad that happens around her. A bad Omen. She didn't know if when she went back to the mortal realm, she would be hunted down again, or accidentally kill the people she loves the most. Selen looked up at the dark red, almost black sky of the city that stopped at the woods. "What is there to do now? I mean, I don't know anyone here. The only people I knew where...." Selen stopped and thought for a moment. They all hated her. And most of the people of her city and clan wanted her even more dead, even if she had already died once. Zombie sympathized for Selen, and almost understood her, even if she still hadn't opened up her heart and soul to spoil out of all of her worries, doubts, insecurities, sins. "I don't understand." Selen mumbled. "What do you mean..?" Zombie looked at Selen with confusion. "I don't understand why people think demonic cultivators are like the 2nd spawning of Satan, and think that their all bad people. At least the people up there." Selen motioned to the sky. "That's something I've been asking myself for the past years I've been down here. They don't make since to me either." Both Selen and Zombie had done plenty of crimes, and where both wanted dead when they where in the mortal realm, and had similar experiences with their childhood, but both of their childhoods where still different from each other, mildly.
"Come." Zombie said as she grabbed Selena wrist and ran off into one of the alleys, and up steps. When they stoped, they where on top one of the highest roof top of the Ghost City."I always come up here to think about those questions." Zombie said as she looked around the city. "You really know every nook and cranny of this place don't you?" Selen laughed a bit. "I know many places, but not all." It was silent for a moment. "I have a question. Actually, a few of them." Selen looked at Zombie. She waited for a question. "Why don't you speak when a lot of people are around?" Selen asked, and Zombie stayed still for a moment. "To be honest, before my family died, people always talked over me because I had a soft spoken voice, so I never talked when I was alive, but after everyone I knew died, I started talking to myself like a maniac. Turns out the people in my village where right after all.." Zombie slightly playfully laughed, as she put her hand over her face. All Selen did was nod. "Don't you ever get bored here?" Selen sparked another question.
Zombie shrugged in a response. "I still don't know everything about corrupt cultivation magic, so maybe I should practice more." Selen admitted. "Was it fun setting a whole clan on fire?" Zombie questioned Selen. "Sure, you could say that."
