Normally, a normal Ghost being wouldn't be able to see in this amount of darkness, but her eyes were different than most ghosts. In the Mortal Realm, during the night, she was able to see as clear as day, not a single flaw. As soon as it was midnight, she snuck out into the street market and stole certain items.
- Paper.
- Dye.
- Throwing Darts.
- Arrows.
- Paint.
When she got back to where they were resting, she laid out the paper and started to draw out Ambrose, Blue, and Kaden, but away from Ambrose, she drew Blue and Kaden, and drew a heart around them, then spelled out; "P. R. O. T. E. C. T." After she finished, she propped it up on the wall and grabbed the throwing darts and arrows. She started throwing the darts at the drawing of Ambrose and hitting it on the head, torso, legs, and neck. "Stupid. Stupid, Stupid, Stupidstupidstupidstupid..!" She said as she threw the darts. "You're lucky I killed off your father years ago or he would've been dead even by second thought if I thought of killing him in the Ghost Realm." She laughed frantically.
"What have you done, Selen?!" "You disgrace of a human! Die in a ditch somewhere!" "No wonder your family is dead!" "You don't belong in their family!" "Worshiper of Lucifer!" Voices rang throughout Selens head."Shut up. Shutupshutupshutupshutup!" Selen tried to hush the voices that she was hearing. She ran her fingers through her hair and put her head down on the ground. "You have no reason to live anymore. You should just get rid of yourself for good. You do not need to be in this world anymore. All you cause is mayhem and destruction. You can't even read, let alone live normally." A voice rang. "You're dead! You can't be speaking to me! You're not real! Leave me alone!" Selen sobbed. "Ohh, Selen. But I am real, you just don't notice it. I may be dead but I am real. You can't ever escape the truth, Selen." The voice continued to yell at Selen. "Please.. I killed you almost 7 years ago, please I..." Selen sobbed harder. "If you didn't kill me, and went by what I was telling you, obeying my rules, none of this would've happened to you, Princess." The voice continued. "Don't call me that." Selens voice and breath were shakey. "Why not? You can't do anything about it." The voice continued to laugh. "People are staring at you. You are weird. You have been found out. Nobody will love you." Other voices rang through her head. "You hear them, why don't you listen to them? They're all right, don't you notice that, Darling?" The masculine voice still echoed through her head.
As Selen looked up, in the corner of the wall she could see the shadowy figure of her old boyfriend, which was the voice she was hearing. "Don't call me that again, please... I'm tired of you." Selen put her head facing the ground and ran her fingers between her hair again. "Kaden and Blue hate you. You'll never see anyone you ever love again. You're always being stared at in public. You are abusive." Other voices rang through her head again. "I'M NOT ABUSIVE. I-I-" Selen tried to yell but her voice was dying out. "You are, I was never. I was giving you everything you wanted, Selen." His voice threatened. "You'll never be able to escape us. You can't just get away, however long or hard you try. You can't." The masculine voice continued. Selen was silent, she couldn't take it anymore at this point. "Oh?" "Kill yourself, useless wannabe royal. You will never fit in with society. All you're used for is running arens for people. You don't deserve a life." Voices rang in and out. "Please stop. I can't take this shit anymore. Please." Selen was banging her head up against the concrete ground, non-stop. "I'll never stop. You can't escape, however long you try. Never. You killed so many innocent people and harmed so many people, including me.. How hurtful. So you'll never get a damn day to rest!" The voice yelled as it faded away, along with the other voices. "I...Is he gone...?" She shakily said as she lifted her head and looked around her. "We'll never leave you. Everyone will leave you. We will not. You'll forever rot away." Voices overlapped themselves, saying different death threats and different things. "God, please leave me alone!" She sobbed. "Selen, my darling." The masculine voice continued, and Selen gritted her teeth as she looked back down at the ground and started to hit her head on the concrete again. "Doing that won't help anything, stupid bitch. However hard you try and get rid of us you CAN'T. You need to learn that, my princess." The voice laughed. Selen started crying and sobbing, as she kept hitting her head on the concrete, and hitting the concrete with her hands. "Please.." She sniffled. As the voices continued, she didn't say anything, she just kept crying.
"Selen-" Ao tried to get closer to Selen, but he was afraid he would trigger another delusion or worse. "Who- Please don't tell me it's Damien again- please.." Selen sobbed. "No- Selen- It's Ao.. calm down." "Disgusting pig! He's not real. You're living in a fake world. Go back." "Shut up! I can't hear you!" Selen tried to fight back the voices that kept saying things to her. Ao looked at the paper that was propped up on the wall and sighed. He put his hand on Selens shoulder. "S-stop- Damien- I told you to stop-" Selen said, scared, tormented, abused, sobbing. "Selen, calm down, it's Ao, and Zombie is over there, take a breath." Ao tried to calm Selen, who looked up at him and tried to take deep breaths. "I-I- where are we? I can't see anywhere- I.." Selen looked around. "Another bad short episode.. At least it was short and wasn't long.." Ao sighed in relief but also in worry. "Wh..?" Selen looked at Ao. "We're up in the mortal realm because you wanted to see 3 people, and we were resting for tonight then you had another episode, a bad one." Ao tried to explain to her.
She sighed and looked to where she saw the hallucination of Damien earlier, In the corner, and he wasn't there. She gazed over at the paper she had drawn on, and the darts that she had thrown into it. "Can you explain to me what was happening around you?" Ao asked her. "I.. I don't want to- I can't, even if I tried to.." She mumbled. "Okay, that's fine Selen, you don't have to explain it, just get some rest, or try to, kay?" Ao tried to reassure her. "Where's Zombie?" Selen asked as she looked around. "She's over there," Ao said as he pointed over to where Zombie was leaning up against the wall, sleeping. As soon as she noticed she walked over to her lightly and sat down next to her, and leaned onto her shoulder. Ao sighed as he looked up at the half-moon. "Today's gonna be hell."
