"Shut up," he shouted. "You don't understand what we'd be fighting, Y/n! The hollow took my wife, and my baby! So no, I'm not helping."
"Vince," you mumbled, filling guilt trail up your throat. "I'm sorry, I... I didn't know."
"It doesn't matter," he took your hand and pulled you into a quick, yet passionate, kiss. "I'm just not ready for that thing."
"Okay," you sighed, wrapping your arms around his waist as the two of you just stood there for a second hugging.
