Part 9
crocodile tears!🪓
Yugyeom finds his captive a little too bold for her own good. How Lisa sways her way near him, looking up with a distrusting purpose pushing his patience further as if she was never really daunted to meet his dark eyes in the first place. Her keen feature changes to soft, tolerating a preen to feed his heartless ego. Yugyeom knows she's trying to please him.
"I won't run. Ever." She says again, kneeling before him. Overdoing a try. "If you want me to keep here for the rest of the days, then do that. I won't say anything about you coming here with bloody knuckles, bullet wounds or a dead body. I promise I'll cater all you want."
No second guessing, she places her hand gently on his thigh, testing the waters. An attempt to twist his mind, Lisa smiles at him sweetly. "I'll be your partner."
Yugyeom stares down at her soft brown eyes, reading her, not faltering in the slightest. He could tell she's playing with him, thought she could deceive him with her flaunting. "You're not getting out of your cage, little bird. My house, my town, my verdict. It's not an easy jury."
She gazes up at him through her lashes. "I won't run away. I have no other place to go."
"But you will, one way or another." He grabs her upper arm, making her stand up and drags her back to her initial seat. "It's my sole decision when you can go out or stay inside to kill time, or anything that I ask you to. Not yours to command me like a fool."
Fuming, Lisa can't imagine how defensive he is towards her. She could plead before him, a hundred times, but Yugyeom's acting like a stationed rock. He's using her like she's nothing but a mere thing. It's inhumane.
She glares at him with all her heart's content. "You don't know what's inside my head. You don't me. You don't what I'm capable to do."
"That's right. I know what you are. And it's safer if you're within our sight." He hisses, then leaning his face a little too closer with a mindful threat. "You do want another corpse to be buried in our yard, don't you?"
Lisa stays still, breathing hard as if to catch her remaining stance. She has to listen, be obedient for him or else there's nothing for her to keep in the end. Not even herself.
Yugyeom asks her to answer him back through a shout. "DON'T YOU!?"
Lisa flinches.
"No!"
"Then you can't go outside!"
A beat after, he hears a sniffle. Yugyeom retreats back, too stubborn to even spare her a worried glance. Lisa couldn't tell if her crying is still part of her act or not. She can't control to put her tears into an end and she hates it excessively.
Letting out an agitated sigh, he takes her quiet cry the cue to get out of her room, walking hasty enough to even let Lisa know he's gone. Unbothered.
Lalisa sees her surrounding blur with disappointed tears. Her fists stiff on either sides, shunning a rage. Yugyeom might be one of the worst person in the world, if not among the worst, then the only person who does it best. She begrudgingly wipes her tears, turning to trudge towards the door he closes loudly.
"I fucking hate you!" Lisa screams, there was no other better words. She kicks the wooden door with a vexing thud, imagining it was him she's currently knocking down.
When suddenly her door abruptly opens again.
Lisa steps back. She watches his stout figure walking back inside with heavy, and hostile steps. She ceases what her tears had started, once again bewildered at his quick pace.
For a moment, she thought there was a change of mind in him, only to realize Yugyeom walks back to get her food tray out with him.
He's probably trying to kill her slowly with hunger, too.
"What are you doing?"
Instead of answering, Yugyeom locks her door swiftly. Too tired to listen at her silly appeal. He could ask Hendery to handle their hardheaded hostage instead. He's got better work to do than to entertain a nuisance.
"Fucking asshole!" He hears her shouting on the other side.
