-Rayne-
I saw it. It was coming. Faster and faster.
"Stop!"I screamed. But I knew, it was too late.
-----
I was being shaken again and again. I opened my eyes and saw bright green eyes staring at me.
"What were you dreaming about Rayne? You were screaming in your sleep..." My sister, Juliet, stated, as I was still trying to wake up. Her shaggy brown hair fit perfectly with her head.
I shook my head and muttered, "I don't really remember..."
"Rayne! C'mon! Atleast just a little part? Texas Chainsaw Massacre guys running after you with a saw? Spiders crawling up your legs and eating you alive? You have to remember something..." I shook my head.
Truthfully, I didn't remember anything. I just remember that it came every night.
Now, as for Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I had no clue where she got that from. We did everything together, and I'm positive that's she's never seen that movie. She probably just heard some kids at school talking about it.
It was Saturday. One of the most fun days of my week. Momma wasn't home, and we were all alone. Papa, well let's just say that our Papa wasn't here. I definitely don't wanna think about it right now. Juliet, suddenly, grabbed me by the arm and yanked me out of bed.
Thanks to my great reaction skills, I was able to stand. My neck had major whiplash though.
We were both there standing in our white nightgowns, staring at each other. Our stares were both very different though. Mine was more of a ouch-what-the-heck-is-going-on-in-your-brain kind of stare. Hers was curiosity.
All was quiet, and suddenly she screamed. "Look! The Mr. Geffory is outside! He's walking his mysterious dog! He never even steps outside except to go to work! I wonder what's up?!?"
Of course, for Juliet, everything was an adventure. Even the most boring things, like chores, she could turn into the most fun ever.
She told me to get dressed in my best spy clothes. I looked through my dresser on my side of the room, and she looked through hers. Once I turned around, she was already dressed in black tights, a Jean skirt, and a skull and crossbones shirt.
"Hurry up! We're gonna lose him!" She shouted at me. I hurried and got dressed into basketball shorts and a camouflage T-shirt.
She pulled me downstairs, and out the front door. I looked up at the sky. It's something I do everyday. The sky was clear blue with a few clouds. Interesting. Yesterday, it was exactly the same. It was usually never like that in Colorado.
Because I was watching the sky, I hit a crack in the sidewalk, and went head first into the concrete.
"Get up, clumsy! Your gonna get us caught!"
My lip was bleeding, and my knees were scraped, but I sucked it up. Momma always taught us to be tough and look out for ourselves.
We hid behind a picket fence as we watched the 'strange' man walk with his chihuahua. He was whistling and smiling as he went along.
"Do you see that?!? Look at his hand?"
I looked. Sure enough, there was a ring. No wonder he was so happy.
"Do you see the scar on his left hand? That's huge! He probably got it in a bar fight... We should investigate more!" Juliet whispered. She didn't even notice the ring.
"Juliet, that's been there for ages. He's walking his dog because he's getting married. See his ring? Now can we go back inside? I haven't even had breakfast yet..." I usually never spoke this much.
"Sheesh you party pooper. I'm still convinced that you hate fun. Yeah, let's go inside, I haven't had breakfast yet either. Eggs or waffles?"
"Waffles." I hated eggs.
We walked inside to go start our breakfast.

Authors Note(:
So... I'm debating whether or not to continue this... I know the plotline isn't covered very much in the first chapter, but that's pretty much just my intro. Yes, I know I spent rainbow wrong. It's supposed to be that way. If I decide to continue this, I have lots of shockers planned :D Sorry if this looks weird... I'm writing it all on my iPod... It's handy(: Ahaha, well let's see where this goes(:
So... The question is: Should I continue this? Comment please!
