Miles

Bloody hell was all I saw. Bloody rouge wolf's about a hundred or so dead spread across the forest and her. My Grey was right under Xavier. His was at a distance I hated. I let Marcus do the job. He bared his fangs and stood protectively over her. Today was the end of him. He was easier to end then expected. His wolf laid there bloody with no signs of life.

Autumn was already tending to Grey. My wolf nudged her. He whimpered. Beside her was a shirt my shirt. We leave shirts and pants around when we shift back to human form we have something to wear. Marcus continues to nudge her. Greys wold doesn't move, but ends up shifts back to Grey. Autumn quickly slips clothing over her. I run to a tree and shift behind it Autumn hands me pants to change into.

"Is is responding?"

Autumn shakes her heads

"Look at her Miles. I'm scared"

She had slashes all over her and a bite mark as well. My instinct tells me pick her up and take her back to the pack doctors.

"Autumn have someone cleanup the bodies."

"I'm on it."

I ran as fast as I could back to the house. Praying she'd be okay. I quicker I went the close and the more she clung onto me. I reassure myself she'll be fine. Nothing will happen to her. I could feel me heart aching a little.

"Please don't leave me alone."

My hurt continued to hurt and hurt. I need to be quicker I remind myself. By the time I got back the pack doctor was already waiting and ready I gently place Grey down. I leave the room. My knees hit the floor as soon as the door closes

"Oh my goddess. Miles!"

"How on earth did you end up coming back quicker than me?"

"That's besides the point, your bleeding. From your chest."

I look down. Autumn was right. I was bleeding from my chest. I place a hand over my heart.

"Is she going to be okay if this is happening?"

Autumn starts banging on the door

"Grey you need to live. Don't leave us. Grey! You need to live. What am I to do without my best friend? It'll be so lonely. Grey please don't leave us. Remember when we were young. Oh back you were so strong and outgoing. Grey goddamnit. You're a fighter live on. I still remember when you first found out about Miles being your mate. I knew you were heads over heels for him even before that. You idiot you have a chance now, why can't you fight on. Please Grey for Miles." Autumn last words were quiet

I hold her arm for support. I felt dizzy and sick.

"Oh my goodness Miles. Stay with me."

"Miles!"

"M.........."

I could hear anything else. Is this it? Our time was short. It was so bittersweet. I turn my head to look at the door behind that door was her.

"I love you Grey."

As those words left his lip a single tear fell from his eyes.
