It's been roughly six years since FP Jones has last set foot in Riverdale. As soon as he turned eighteen years old, he dropped out of school and enlisted in the army without as much as a second thought. All he knew in that moment was that he had to get away.

Now entering the town with pep, he begins his walk towards the southside. He had no solid plan for what to do when he came back, nor had anything with him to sustain himself comfortably. He only owns the uniform on his back and whatever had fit in his bag.

He navigates himself to the Whyte Wyrm, almost too afraid to show his face at the trailer park. He fears running into one particular man there.

He enters the infamous bar from his past. Many eyes go straight to the man in uniform. Those staring do not recognize him. That is until a fellow southside buddy of his looks at him.

"Jones, is that you?"

FP's face has matured over the last few years. No longer a high school student but a veteran. He has grown out a beard, gotten a couple more tattoos, and the old scar on his arm has begun to fade.

He recognizes him instantly. "Hog Eye."

"Where the hell have you been? At war or something," He looks him up and down. The Serpents had no idea where their former king's son had suddenly gone.

"Enlisted years ago. Now I'm back."

"I see that." Hog Eye chuckles.

Their chat gets interrupted quickly.

"Well if it isn't the traitor," Tall Boy comes out from the back when he hears the sudden commotion. He pokes FP's chest harshly. "Don't you know we don't let traitors into our bar?"

"Tall Boy," Hog Eye tries to defend FP.

"No, no, it needs to be said." Tall Boy grabs a hold of FP's collar. He gets dangerously close to his face. "You chose to leave, so go ahead and show yourself back out."

"Who do you think you are?" FP challenges. He has never taken a liking to him.

"Who do you think you are showing your face here? Law number five; a Serpent never betrays his own."

"I've never betrayed anyone."

"You weren't here for your old man."

"Why the hell would I want to do that?" FP pushes Tall Boy's hand off of him. "I haven't said a word to him since he kicked me out to the streets to fend for myself. Or are we forgetting about that?"

"We held his funeral two years ago." Mustang pops up next to Tall Boy.

"Let me guess, he drank himself to death." FP can't say he's surprised. Though he doesn't know how to feel, he's a little relieved with the fact that he won't have to face him while he's here.

"Don't you have any respect for the king?"

"That asshole?" FP scoffs. "He didn't respect me or my mother, so why should I be expected to respect him? Hell, where were all of you when he was using me as his own personal punching bag, huh? No Serpent stands alone, my ass."

Tall Boy balls up a fist and strikes FP's face before FP can fully react.

"Get out! You're not welcomed here!"

"Cut it out!" Hog Eye intervened. He shoves the man away from FP. Another Serpent tends to FP.

"Fine! Like I give a crap about being here!"

"FP," Hog Eye says.

FP picks his bag back up and storms out. Hog Eye follows him out.

"FP!"
