Wanna Talk

Today has been pretty nice. All we have done today was watch movies, eat and just chill. Elliot brought us snacks a few hours ago and Diana just ordered pizza. We were watching one of my favorite TV shows; I didn't know she liked it as well.

I sat there on the couch with her, just watching TV. That's when the front door opened and I turned around to see Nick and his friends. "Hey Nicky, we just ordered some pizza." Elliot said greeting his son. "Hi Andrew, Jay and Jessi." They all replied in their own ways.

Jay was loud as ever, but I ignored them as I looked back at the TV. As I made my focus an the TV I noticed something in my peripheral. I turned my head and saw Leah was close to me and she was on her phone looking at something. I jumped and placed my hand over my chest.

"Jesus fucking Christ, you scared the shit outta me." I looked away and sighed. Leah looked at me and chuckled softly. "Sorry girl, I have to show you this." She pulled something up on her phone and showed it to me. I looked at saw it was picture.

I took her phone out of her hands and looked at it closely. "Is this Judd?" I looked at her, looking back at the picture soon after. "Holy shit, and me?! Where did you find this?" She took her phone back and smiled. "A detective never reveals their clues." She looked back down to her phone.

"Kidding, mom was going through old photo albums and found it. I had to get I picture of it as you two looked awkward as hell." She laughed. "Those awkward teen years you guys went through." She clicked her tongue and slowly shook her head. "Nick's 10th birthday."

I looked at her and smirked. "Says the one that had braces and an inhaler until she grew out of her asthma." I nudged her softly. She lightly punched my arm. "You promised you wouldn't bring that back up." She giggled.

I looked back at the TV. "Well you know, I kinda forgot about that promise until now." My smile soon faded. "What happened?" I paused for a moment. "You know between us; our friendship." I looked at her, but she had her hands in her lap as she stared at the TV then her hands.

"I don't really know... I guess I just got caught up in my own world." She looked at me. "I mean we weren't close, but it would've been nice." I said reassuring her that it was okay. "I mean look at us now."

She smiled and looked away. "Yeah, I mean you're right. I just think we were in two different worlds by the time we got in highschool." She shrugged, looking at the TV. I looked at the TV as well. "That's true, I mean you were in drama and into boys; while I was still climbing trees and hanging out with guys."

She smiled. "I'm glad we're hanging out now though, despite not having a lot in common." I smiled as well. "Same here." There was silence in between us; it was calm. That's when the front door slammed open and shut.

Everyone had jumped like a gun had just gone off. I brought my attention to the door and I'm sure everyone else did too. There stood Judd, well walking quickly to the stairs. "Hey hun, how was your date?" Diana asked sweetly, but he didn't respond.

He rushed up the stairs and made his way to his room. Soon there was another slam, I noticed Judd had been looking down the whole time and his knuckles were bloody. Nick and his friends made their way downstairs, looking confused. "What got his panties in a twist?"

Nick asked as he pointed behind him with his thumb. Leah shrugged and looked at the TV. I looked her in the eyes, nudging her; telling her that it was about his date with my eyes. She looked at me confused, but then slowly started to connect the dots. "Ooooh shit...."

"Yeeeaah...." I replied to her. "What's that about?" Andrew asked Nick as they were going to sit at the table. "I don't know, probably some girl thing." Nick replied. "No duh it's a girl thing, that you guys don't need to know." Jessi said, rolling her eyes.

I slowly got up to go check on him, but the door bell went off. Elliot answered the door as it was the pizza being delivered. He payed the man and came inside with the pizza. He set it down on the table and opened the boxes.

Everyone started digging in, and Leah got up to go get some. "You coming to get some?" She asked. I followed her and got some pizza for myself and Judd. I got him some Pepperoni and myself (Pizza). I grabbed both plates and made my way upstairs.

"I'm gonna give Judd his plate and see what's wrong." I told Leah; she just nodded and sat down at the couch, continuing to watch the show. I made it to his room and place one plate on my arm as I held the other in my hand.

I knocked on the door and waited for an answer, but there wasn't one. "Judd? It's me... I brought you some pizza." I said softly, waiting for him to answer again. He still didn't say anything though. I slowly opened the door and made my way in his room. "Hey... You wanna talk?"
