"I'm surprised Jay let you walk here" Louella laughed
"I had to beg him at the door this morning. Said something about the snow being dangerous" Anna laughed
"At least we finish for winter break in a week" Louella said as they walked into school
The 2 girls walked into their first period class which was English. Louella sat next to Anna. It was halfway through the lesson and Anna had rested her hand on top of Louella's. Louella looked down at her hand and quickly took her hand away, unsure of how to react.
Meanwhile over at the firehouse shay had caught up with Kelly
"Has Lou told you guys anything recently?" Shay asked
"Lou doesn't talk to me, maybe ask Casey?" Kelly said whilst reading his paper
"Why?" He asked looking up from his paper
"No reason" Shay said
"Your making that face you always make, what's up?" Kelly said
"It's nothing, really" Shay said before walking off
The day ended and Louella was walking home alongside Anna.
"What time have you gotta be home?" Anna asked
"Not till like 7 why?" Louella said glancing at her phone which read 15:30
"Let's go ice skating!" Anna smiled
"What?" Louella asked
"Come on Ella! Live life on the edge!" Anna said
Louella sighed before smiling
"Fine" She laughed
An hour later they arrived at the ice rink. They were putting their skates on.
"I've never skated before" Louella laughed
"Well if you must know I'm an expert" Anna said as she helped Louella up
They got onto the ice and Louella immediately fell, she gripped onto the side. Anna couldn't stop laughing as she watched her fall
"Need some help?" Anna said putting her hand out
"I've got it" Louella said as she struggled to get up
"Take my hand Ella" Anna said
"Fine" Louella said as she took her hand
Anna placed her hands on Louella's hips and helped her skate, after a while she eventually got it. They skated for an hour until they went a walk. They stood outside the big Christmas tree.
"This is my first Christmas without my dad and my mom at that" Louella said looking at the star on top of the tree
"Same here, well without my dad" Anna said as she looked at Louella
"Hey, maybe we should stick together" Louella said as she looked at Anna
Anna smiled as she began to inch closer to Louella. Anna then pulled her close and kissed her...
