In Between: Moo Shu to Go & Of Men and Angels

BROOKLYN and Isabelle had split up in order to find Simon while Jace and Alec were going to find Clary. They entered the docks, splitting up and trying to find a way inside the building. They followed the smoke of the fire that Simon had created.

They paced the outside of the building, near the back where Simon was likely tied up. They reached the back wall and Isabelle got out her stele, bring it over a rune before she took the wall down.

"Brooklyn?" Simon called, taken aback by the wall that had just been crushed.

Brooklyn walked into the room, "Simon, thank god! Come on!" Brooklyn wraps her arm around Simon, pulling him up from the ground and outside of the building.

Isabelle was already waiting and had her whip out, the moment Brooklyn and Simon exited the building she was leading them away. Brooklyn was pushing Simon forward with one hand and in the other she was holding a five inch knife. 

Simon was walking in the middle of Isabelle and Brooklyn who were basically protecting hims like a shield.They rounded a corner to where the storage boxes where and Brooklyn spot the others, she turned around making sure nobody was following them as they approached Alec, Jace, and Clary. 

Clary ran to Simon and Simon to Clary, meeting each other halfway and met with a hug.

"Let's go." Alec decided at once.

Clary stopped him, "Wait! The box, in my backpack I think I left it in the loft." Clary tells him.

"Don't worry we got it, we didn't screw up everything." Brooklyn assured as she shot a glare to Jace.

Simon turned, "Let's get out of here then." He said rather quickly as he began to walk away.

Brooklyn grabbed his arm, "Simon don't! Whatever you do, don't make any sudden movements." with one swift movement, Brooklyn pushed him back as the Shadow hunters formed a circle.

Brooklyn pulled out another knife, handing one to Simon and the other to Clary since they didn't have any weapons. Jace had already handed Clary one of his seraph blades and Brooklyn had enough knives and daggers, she just gave Simon one in case of an emergency.

"We're surrounded." Alec said, notching an arrow to his bow, "Stay together."

Simon looked around, "Believe me, I'm not going anywhere." He cried fearfully.

"That's Theo, the alpha." Isabelle informs as a wolf came out of the entrance to the restaurant.

Jace grimaced, "Everyone back!" He commands.

Clary looked behind Jace, "Jace, behind you!" Clary shouted and Jace spun around.

A wolf that was approaching jumped right over them and went over to the Alpha, knocking him into a bunch of boxes. The wolves in the pack surrounded the two wolves, trying to see who would win the fight. Brooklyn's grip tightened on her knife as she watched, ready to fight bee way out of there if she needed to.

"He's challenging the Alpha." Alec realizes.

Clary watched with hopeful eyes, "He's helping us!" She suggests.

"Or cutting in line to kill us." Simon objected, earning a glare from Brooklyn.

The two wolves continued to fight until one of the wolves was thrown into one of the storage boxes and fell to the group with a loud whimper, it was Theo, the pack Alpha. That meant the wolf who had fought him was the new Alpha.
