Chapter 5

Lucy: "Wake you up you lazy bum!" Giggles Corina a very pretty girl twenty five year old who is half Puerto Rican and Argentinian with traces of a black heritage.

AJ: "What is it?" He goans.

Lucy: "Get up! Brandon is gonna be here soon. You guys got the big match tonight."

AJ: "Oh go away it's only 8:30am. We don't gotta be there til noon. Give me another hour."

Lucy: "That's it time for plan B."

AJ continues to sleep until he feels light slaps on his chest followed by cooing sounds. He then opens his eyes to his little baby girl Angel.

AJ: "Oh now that's just cheating. Good morning my little darling. How's my favorite girl."

He gets up out of his bed and he carries Angel to the kitchen. He walks through the living room and turns on the radio which starts to play "Rooster" by Alice In Chains.

AJ: "Come on Angel let's go see mommy."

He walks into the kitchen and kisses Lucy's cheek.

AJ: "Thanks for the walk up call silly wabbit."

Lucy: "Well, loco lobo when all else fails the baby prevails."

AJ: "I guess you got me their."

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Brandon: "AJ! Lucy! It's Brandon open the door."

Lucy goes over to open the door for Brandon.

Brandon: "Hello my dear. How are you this morning."

Lucy: "Hey Brandon come on in. AJ's in kitchen having breakfast with Angel."

Brandon: "Excellent I haven't seen my goddaughter in a week."

  Lucy and Brandon then make their way to the kitchen.

Brandon: "What's up my friend. How's it going?"

AJ: "Hey buddy how was ol Mexico."

Brandon: "Well aside from my business deals it was rather nice."

AJ: "Good you wanna hold Angel while I go take a quick shower."

Brandon: "Absolutely! That's why I'm here so early in the morning."

AJ then puts Angel on the floor helps her walk over to Brandon.

AJ: "Hey honey looks whose here it's uncle Brandon. Let's go say hi, let's go say hi sweetie."

  Angel with the help of AJ walks over to Brandon.

Brandon: "Oh, my beautiful niece I've missed you so much. Have you been a good girl my darling?Have you been good to mommy and daddy?"

  Angel looks down at Brandon and she gives him the cutest baby smile.

Lucy: "How you boys doing?"

AJ: "Were doing fine kiddo. Brandon hasn't put down Angel since he's walked into the kitchen."

Brandon: "My friends, this baby of yours is to damn lovable, but mom duty calls." He chuckles.

Lucy: "Gimme my kid you gotta leave soon anyway. I'm assuming you gotta do reps before the big match."

Brandon: "She's right man. We gotta head to The City make sure the venue is being set up properly."

  AJ nods in agreement. He then walks over to Lucy and kisses her goodbye. He picks up Angel and gives her a big kiss. Himself and Brandon then leave the apartment and enter Brandon's car.
