Chapter 3

Damien: "This could be our big break with luck hopefully we get the answers we need."

Michael: "Brody I got a very good feeling about this myself."

Damien: "I'm curious to see what we're gonna find."

Michael: "Me too brody I wanna be done with this."

Damien: "I couldn't agree more buddy."

Christy: "How's Angel doing big bro?"

Damien: "She's ok. Taking a little nap."

Michael: "Good depending on traffic we should be there soon."

Christy: "Michael baby I'm tired I think gonna join Angel and nap."

Michael: "Go for it girl. We'll wake you two up when we get to Floral Park."

Christy climbs over to the back and Damien makes his way to the front to sit next to Michael. The rest of the car ride is silent with the only sound coming from the radio which is playing U2's With Or Without you.

Damien: "This is a good song. The night I met Angel this song played I remember it very clearly."

Michael: "Tell the story brody."

Damien: "As you know Angel have been together for three years. The night I meet her I was at a house party being hosted by her cousin. I only went because we had a mutual friend. I didn't have much interest in things like that. Anyways I went to the backyard to get a drink. Then by the pool I see her in this sparkling red dress with black heel shoes. Her hair was done in a way to similar to Cindy Crawford in the 90s. Our eyes locked on to each other and it was one of those moments were time stood still and nothing else mattered. What made it better was that she had the brains to match the looks and from that night on I wanted her and only her. She's my soulmate and I'll always do whatever I can to make her happy."

Michael: "That's a good story brody. It's better then how Christy and I linked up."

Damien: "How so?"

Michael: "Well as you know brody Christy and I have been together for two years prior to you meeting Angel. How we met was definitely a funtime. Some people and I were in Manhattan and we decided to hit up Webster Hall. Once we get in I'm all over the dance floor doing my thing. Then all of a sudden this fine chocolate goddess starts grinding on me and I'm thinking to myself "who is this honey." After we finished stealing the show we go to the bar and have a drink. Then I used some of the old Victor magic to break down her walls. Aside from the dance number she wasn't interested in getting into a committed relationship."

Damien: "I can only imagine what you came up with to change her mind."

Michael: "I told her that was she was the hottest girl I'd ever seen and that if she didn't let me take her out I'd annoy her at any moment. Clearly as history shows were not only still together but happily married."

Damien: "The Party animal Michael Victor showing his version of a sensitive side." He laughs.

Michael: "Yes sir! But keep it between us brody. I got a reputation to protect."  

Damien: "Don't worry brody your secret is safe with me."

Michael: "Thank you brody the last thing I need is people thinking I'm touch with my feelings." He laughs.

  After about thirty minutes of going through some relatively slow but moving traffic the group finally make there arrival to Floral Park. Michael drives up to the front of Lucy's childhood home.

Damien: "Girls! Wake up! We're here. Let's get some work done." He shouts.

Angel: "Damien, baby I'm feeling a little sick after all this traveling."
